Weakness (Kageyama x Hinata)

Chapter 3

Their mouths came closer and closer. Now no sheet of paper would have fit between them. They were so close-. Kageyama opens his eyes. What the? Was that a dream? Oh shit, it felt so real. He and Hinata almost kiss. "Huh, is it time to get up?" Tobio looks down. The little spiker almost sits on Kageyama's lap. God, he almost forgot, he fell asleep next to Hinata. His face immediately turns red and he turns away. "Hm, what is it?" Shoyo confused looks up to him. "S...Stupid, get off me!" Oh my god, he looks so hot. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't even realize" he replies, dragging out of bed. "I think we'd better go to morning training now. Or do you still feel sick? " "Uh, no, it's okay. I'll come with you" The middle blocker smiles brightly "Great! Today I'm going to hit a lot of spikes, like 'wuschhh'" He jumps up and hits trough air. The setter smiles. Now he's just as energetic as ever.

"Uwoo! Shoyo, you brought Kageyama here. Great!" Nishinoya and Tanaka yell at them. "I apologize for not coming yesterday. I just couldn't get out of the house because of the cold" says the setter "Oh, no problem"," Training if you were sick would have been useless anyway" Suga and Daichi are now also announcing. After the training, Tanaka proudly shows everyone some new magazines with models. Except for Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Hinata, and Kageyama, everyone is watching him closely. "Hey, your Highness. What was going on today? Your tosses were terrible. Is the perfect king already done?" Provokes Tsukishima the setter "What did you say, huh? " " Oh, the king of the court is in a bad mood" He was thinking of his dream the whole time and now Tsukishima's looking for a fight. What a horrible day "Ah stop otherwise Daichi will get angry. You never learn it, do you?" Tanaka interrupts "Tch, come on Yamaguchi. We go" " Coming, Tsukki" Kageyama takes his bag and leaves. "Hey, Kageyama, wait! I'll come with you, we've got class together now anyway" Hinata calls after him, but Tobio pretends not to have heard him and stomps away. He has to get Hinata out of his head, so it doesn't help to spend time together. He decides not to think about Shoyo anymore. In class, he was the last to come and the first to leave. No matter how often the little spiker tried to speak to him that day, he never had a chance. Since Kageyama hardly plays with Hinata during the later training session and his tosses and serves are not as perfect as ever, Sawamura takes him to talk. "Did something happen? Between you and Hinata, I mean? You seem to be avoiding him somehow" Is it that obvious? "Well, it's like: I would like to spend more time with him, I want him to wear my hoodies, want to hold his hand, go to the cinema with him and listen how he tells me about his day" "Oh wow ..." Daichi stares at him speechlessly "Um ... something like that. Uh, don't get me wrong now, I don't want him to be my boyfriend or something" The captain looks at him for a moment and then starts to laugh "Sorry. So to me, it sounds like you're in love with Hinata and don't know how to handle these feelings." Tobio's eyes widen. What? "No ... I ... uh ... well" "Sawamura you can you come for a minute!?", Coach Ukai calls the wing spiker "Think about it, okay?" The captain says goodbye to the setter and pats him on the shoulder. In love? He has always suppressed this thought, but now that Daichi had said it so easily, he couldn't get his thoughts under control. That can't- "Oi, Kageyama?" "Huh, what?" Hinata stands in front of him and looks at him expectantly. "I asked you if you would like to have ice cream with me. It's not that late yet and I still have too much energy left. So?" "Huh ... Uhm ... well, I uh" the setter once again starts blushing while Hinata came closer to get an answer. "Uh, so I think I would have time Uhm ..." "Great! See you tomorrow, guys!", Shoyo says happily, takes Tobio by the wrist and runs out of the locker room "Oi, Boke, wait!" After they had gotten ice cream, Hinata happily runs beside his friend and tells him how boring Math lessons today was. Kageyama was a little embarrassed by the whole thing, but he enjoyed it. He liked watching the little boy imitate the angry teacher and start giggling. It was a great feeling to spend time with him. "Uwoh, see there is a playground! Can you push me on the swing? " " Huh, why can't you do it yourself?" "But it is much more fun that way." Again Tobio's face turns bright red. God, why does he have to be so cute? "Well ... okay" "Juhuuu!" Hinata runs to the swing, which is too small even for him, but he doesn't seem to care. "Stupid, don't shout so loudly or we'll get into trouble!", the setter drops his bag on the floor and starts shoving at his friend. "Tell me" "Hm, what is it?" "What do you think of me?" "Uh what? Well ... you are our strongest decoy and have excellent athletic skills." "I didn't mean that. I mean, what do you think of me as a person? What do I mean to you? What do you feel when you see me?" Kageyama's eyes widen. The middle blocker gets up from the swing and looks deep into his friend's eyes. "Do you like me, Kageyama Tobio? Because I think I actually like you very much"
