Hinata's alarm clock rang at 6 a.m. and the two volleyball players had to separate from each other to get up and go to training. They had breakfast with Hinata's mother and Natsu and then, holding hands, headed for their school. When they arrived they were greeted cheerfully by Noya and Suga. When they were done their ways parted and they went to their classes. After two long and boring hours, the first break was finally there and Shoyo went to the cafeteria with two classmates. They were in the middle of a conversation about their terrible math teacher when, "Hinata, isn't that your boyfriend?", Came from his friend. Tobio was actually standing a few meters ahead of him, talking to a girl their age. She was an absolute beauty. She had a beautiful figure and a cute face. Smiling, she stroked a strand of her brown hair that reached her bottom behind her ear as she looked up at Hinata's boyfriend with her clear blue eyes. "What a beauty ... is she new?", asked Hinata's second companion. "That's Lizzy Kasaki (I know really realistic name;)), she came to our school last week. She is already the best of the year and I heard that her father is supposed to be a really rich man from America," said the First. Shoyo felt cold down his back. Pretty, smart, rich, and nice? And this girl is standing over there and talking with his boyfriend about God know what? Hinata was close to tears. But why actually? Was it bad when Tobio was talking to this girl? Omg, did he just giggle? He never giggles ... Was that how jealousy felt? Hinata's friends apparently noticed how much the situation irritated him, because they said with a slightly worried look "Alright, how 'bout we get some meat buns for you, Hinata?" However, Hinata was kinda contemplative the rest of the day thinking about his setters. What do you think they were talking about...

Finally, the school bell rang one last time for today and ended this terrible day at school. The little middle blocker stormed out into the front yard, went to his bike, and looked around for his boyfriend. Today, not only to spend time with him but also to discreetly get out of him what he has to do with this Lizzy. Damn it. He couldn't see through all of those giants. He tried desperately to look over the many heads when Tsukishima and Yamaguchi suddenly appeared next to him "Hey Hinata. Are you looking for something or what's the fuss about?" "I can't find Kageyama anywhere." "Back there," his freckled friend showed him. Shoyo looked in the direction he was facing and froze again. This girl again. And again she was attached to Hinata's boyfriend. In the eyes of the little middle blocker, you could clearly see his suffering and despair. What was wrong with him? Kageyama was just talking to a girl from his class. A girl who was so much better than Shoyo no matter what perspective you saw it from. What's with that? Exactly. Nothing at all. He just imagined something. It was he who was weird. Not Kageyama. Exactly, the problem was sole with Hinata. "Are you okay Hinata?" Ha Ha Ha ha "Yeah. I'm fine" Right. I'm fine. Everything's fine. He smiled a little desperately at his friend and the girl. Actually, you couldn't call it a real smile. Rather a desperate attempt to look happy and not start crying. He jumped on his bike to avoid having to endure all of this and drove away without saying goodbye to his friends and teammates. "Tch, idiot," he heard Tsukishima grumble before he was out of range. He was home twice as fast as usual. The wind that hit him face to face while driving had felt so well and calmed him down again. However, he trembled and had goosebumps all over his body. And still, he tried desperately to look happy. He even persuaded himself that he was only imagining all of this, that he was the problem, that he had had too many hopes and that it was all his fault. He told himself that he should be happy and shouldn't play it up like that. After all, other people are much worse off than him. He had to smile. For Kageyama, Natsu, his friends ... for everyone. Right. As long as he smiles everything will be fine.

The next morning Shoyo played sick. No matter how many times he told himself there was nothing, he couldn't bear the thought of seeing Tobio again with this Lizzy girl. He texted Captain Daichi that he was not well and hid in his bed for the rest of the day. Natsu looked through the gap in the door a couple of times because she was clearly worried. But every time she asked him if he was okay, he just replied "Yeah. I'm fine" In the afternoon he did the homework that a classmate brought him over. It was now about 12 a.m. and Hinata had filled himself with tons of coffee for no reason. He was probably already in his 20th cup. (Btw my record are 98 cups a day ^^ no I'm not addicted at all) He didn't know why but the coffin somehow made him feel better. Even though he felt like the biggest piece of dirt internally, he smiled to the outside and always confirmed to everyone who asked that he was fine. It was creepy how hard he tried to keep his feelings inside and not show them to anyone. Maybe that was wrong. No. It was definitely wrong. His mind told him that, and everyone around would tell him too. But what should he do? He couldn't force himself to share these feelings with others. He knew that sooner or later these feelings would eat him up from the inside, but no matter how much he knew that he had to open up to someone ... he just couldn't. There are people who are much worse off. Why should anyone care how I'm doing? All of these thoughts buzzed in his head as his phone suddenly displayed some new messages. In the group chat of the Karasuno volleyball club messages like "happy birthday, Hinata ;)", "Happy Birthday, shrimpy, get well soon so we can party together. And don't forget the cake" SHOYO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOPE EVERYTHINGS FINE FOR U ", and many more. Congratulations from every team member. He totally forgot that today was his birthday. (I know his birthday isn't today, they just have another date there, oKay) He was just getting happier when he realized, that a team member was missing. Kageyama hadn't texted anything. That was okay, he would surely congratulate him later. He's probably sleeping, yes, it is just after midnight. Ha Ha yeah, he had the feeling of suffocating every moment when his friend's name appeared on the display. He had written him a private message. A little enthusiasm of hope blossomed in Shoyo. He entered the chat. "Are u at home?", he read in a small bubble on the left side. "Yes?" He typed and answered. "Okay," came only as an answer and the green light indicating that Tobio was online turned gray. "Wait, Kageyama, what, why?" But the message didn't even get through. What the? Hinata let his head sink into his pillow and groaned. 20 minutes later the doorbell rang.
