As Krise walked home that day, she felt warm and completely accepted, and well, loved. She smiled. Glad to have met Deon. As she relished the times they spent together, she suddenly felt an unwanted presence. Uneasy, she quickened her pace, the smile vanished from her face. Deon had to stay back to help his friend for homework, so he couldn't be here. Kaira? No, it was too un-Kaira like. She felt that person get closer. At her wits end, she turned around, and narrowed her eyes suspiciously. " Kaira! It is you! I thought you won't do such a thing! " Krise cried angrily. Kaira looked a bit sleepish. " Sorry." Kaira took a deep breath. "There's something I need to tell you. I'm sorry for all those years of hate. My judgment was clouded. Now that it's clear, watch out. There's someone out to get you." Kaira nodded firmly to Krise and in a blink of an eye, disappeared.
