Jongho our precious Maknae

Sick Jongho

Third person pov:

It was a quite day for Ateez. Usually their schedules would be full and they'd be busy all day, but today there was nothing. They'd been given a day off so they thought to spend it together watching movies, playing games and maybe go do some cardio.

Well cardio was more of Jongho's thing but if they ever needed tips they could always go to the youngest member gor help. And he'd be the most happiest to help out.

Though, that doesn't seem to be the case today.

Well, the whole reason ateez had been given a day off was because the poor maknae was down with a fever.

Hoongjong being best boi- i mean the best leader decided to inform the manager about this. The manager told him and the rest of the group to take the day off and make sure they all get plenty of rest.

He doesn't know if the manager thought that they were all sick, but hey, at least the members will get some quality time together and also of course take care of their youngest member.

Anyway, once he informed the rest of the members, everyone cheered by screaming and then que a loud whine coming from Jongho and Mingi's shared room. The group felt bad and decided to be more quite for today.

Seonghwa then quickly goes to the room with a bowl of porridge and some medicine. He sits right next to Jongho and tries to get him up.

"Jongho-ah, please eat something, you have to take medicines so that you can become better." Seonghwa says as he tries to lift him into a sitting position.

Jongho with a cute whine finally sits upright on the bed, but it seems like he doesn't want to eat. But Seonghwa gets hime to eat atleast 5 spoons of porridge finally gives him some medicine and then lets him go back to sleep.

He gets up and just as he's about to leave, he makes a quick glance at the maknae, he sees Jongo kinda gurgling like a baby as he sleeps and honestly, Seonghwa finds that so adorable.

Later on San and Yeosang come in with a set of new clothes and a clean and a lil cool(wettish(?)) piece of cloth to wipe out the sweat on Jongho's body.

Yeosang and San somehow manage to change Jongho's clothes through his constant whining. San being an angel he is calms the boy down by rubbing his neck, massaging his head and talks to him softly while Yeosang changes his clothes.

They both then lay the grown baby on the bed again and San makes sure that he's tucked in nicely, Jongho finds it weird that his members are being so affectionate to him, but at his weak state surprisingly from a fever, he honestly doesn't mind.

Every hour Yunho, Hoongjong, Seonghwa and Wooyoung would come in to check on the maknae just to make sure that he's well and healthy. 

Finally at it's late at night. Every member is now off to the direction of their respected room, Mingi who is now currently Jongh roommate goes off into their shared room.

As he enters the room he finds the maknae awake and on his phone. He didn't really come into the room much to check on Jongho sonce all the pther members seemed to go im from time to time.

Don't get him wrong, he is worried about his brother, but he knows his younger brother is strong and no fever can kill him.

"Do you feel better?" Mingi askes Jongho as he then changes into his pyjamas.

"I feel too energised. I got too much sleep hyung."

"Haha" he laughs,"that's gonna happen when you've slept almost the entire day." Mingi smirks as he finally finishes buttoning his shirts.

He then walks towards Jongho and places his hand on the maknae's head. It seems like the fever has reduced alot which is a good thing.

"Well, you seem alot better, but i suggest more sleep, you'll be at your 100 percent by morning!" Mingi says this as enthusiastically as possible.

"But hyung i don't feel sleepy."

"Well i could always get you a warm glass if milk? It's been 3 hours since you've had your medicine right? It'll help you sleep."

(Ya'll side note: please don't have any dairy products or milk right after having any medicine, do wait for atleast a couple of hours.)

"Alright hyung, i don't mind."

Mingi then smiles and pats Jongho's head before going inti the kitchen to heat up some milk, he made sure it isn't too hot, he doesn't want yo burn the boy.

He then hears one of the room's door unlock,  he turns his head to see Hoongjong at one of the doors. Mingi just mouths "milk" and "Jongho" and "sleep". The leader gets what he meant and then goes back into his shared room with Seonghwa.

After it's done, he then pours the milk into a cup and takes it to the maknae. The maknae drinks iy up slowly as they talk up for about half an hour. Mingi then takes the cup back to the kitchen washes it and sets it back to it's original place.

He then returns back to the room to find the maknae yawning and seemingly very drowsy. So he tucks the younger into bed and pushes the strands of hair out of the boy's forehead.

He then finally hears the soft snores and gurgling coming from the boy. He smiles at his younger brother lovingly. He then proceeds to head off to bed himself after switching the lights off.

And of course, the next day, Jongho woke up healthy as ever. Obviously no fever can ever actually defeat him.
