Jongho our precious Maknae

Jongho and Hoongjong

Hoongjong was the leader of the group. As the leader, he obviously had to take responsibility for many things. He had to make sure that he sets a good example to his members and that they don't accidentally kill each other- I mean don't act way too out of line.

It also known that while Seonghwa is more of the mum of the group and cares for them, comforts them and helps them tons, this leaves Hoongjong with the difficult part of disciplining them, which thankfully none of the members were much of brats, granted the maknae line could be crazy at times cough especially wooyoung  cough.

The members who usually never did in get in trouble tho were Yunho, Yeosang and Jongho.

Yunho only gets in trouble when he doesn't sleep as he's been playing games with San, Yeosang barely gets in trouble, and when he does, he somehow manages to slip away, how he does this is still a mystery we'll never know, and Jongho, usually the quietest, never gets in trouble, mostly polite and honestly only gets in trouble if he stays out too late. Or if he sings his lungs out without taking any breaks.

"Seonghwa could you just shut the fuck up and leave me alone! Stop bothering me!"

However today seemed like the day he was gonna get in real big trouble.

Hoongjong's pov:

"JONGHO!"

Jongho really crossed the line today. I never thought he would ever actually swear at any of us, especially at Seonghwa. I don't think I've ever seen him go so out of line.

"Apologise to Seonghwa hyung now Jongho." He does nothing but walk away. I look at Seonghwa who seemed very hurt. He just turns back and proceeds to drink his water.

I've obviously had enough so i go to Jongho and tell him,"When we get back home i want you to first shower and when your done go straight to my room."

He says nothing so i just turn his face towards mine  and make sure our eyes meet.

"Jongho do you understand what i saying?"

He then quickly looks down but replies with a soft, yet annoyed "yea sure hyung. " I then walk away and the room goes into this awkward silence. We pack our stuff and head back home.

The travel back home was quite. The others didn't really stick around Jongho much, even Mingi and Yunho. I could tell everyone's mad at him as much as i was. Seonghwa  looked worried and sad, but also very disappointed at Jongho.

As soon as we reach home Jongho does as he is told, and heads to the shower first. In the meantime I go to Seonghwa and tell him what I'm about to do.

"Hoongjong,  don't be too harsh on him, something's been on his mind and i was worried about him. I might've taken it to far by trying to force him to open up." Seonghwa says while scratching the back of his neck.

"Ok hyung i won't be too harsh on him, but can you do me a favour? Could you sleep in Jongho's room? I think I'll let him sleep in our room tonight once I'm done with him.

"Sure i don't mind." Hyung says as he takes whatever he needs.Right as he leaves, Jongho enters the room, he passes by Seonghwa at that moment he had a look if guilt in his face, but Seonghwa just looked ahead and ignored his presence.

"Jongho shut the door and come here right now." He quickly enters the room and shuts the door.

"I want you go towards the center of the room and go on you knees and raise your hands up. I will go shower, and i want you to maintain this position for until i say so"

Jongho whines, "but hyung that's a punishment for children!"

I glare at him and say, "if you don't do this I'll increase your punishment time, if you don't want to get into more trouble, i suggest you do as i say."  He then does as he is told.

I take my towel and head for the shower. I see that San's done with his and so i ask him to make sure Jongho's doing his punishment as he's told. He agrees and goes into my room while I continue on my way.

I take about twenty minutes to finish up. It usually doesn't take this long to shower, but i had too.

I then head back to my room. I see san heading out of my room and he tells me that Jongho has been doing what he was told to do. I nod and then head into my room.

"Hyung...I'm sorry, i didn't mean to swear at Seonghwa hyung." Jongho says who looks like he's trying to hold back his tears.

I just shut the door and walk right towards him. "Jongho you can put your arms down now. Go sit on the bed."

Jongho then gets up dusts his pants and immediately sits on the bed while still sniffing. Gosh i feel so bad seeing him so depressed. But he has to know what he did wrong.

"Jongho when i speak to you, i want you to look at me." He does that as soon as the words come out of my mouth, his eyes are puffy like he had been crying for sometime.

"Jongho, before i continue, could you please tell me why you swore at your hyung?"

Jongho's eyes suddenly get bigger and he quickly darts his eyes away, he seemed to get smaller and smaller evertime i speak. I then kneel right in front of him and cup his face in my hands.

"Jongho, if something or someone is is bothering you, please do tell us. You don't have to be afraid of us, we're not gonna judge you nor are we gonna laugh at you for it. Also Seonghwa was worried about you. You've been acting off and he wanted to check on you. How do you think he felt when all he did was just trying to help?"

At this point Jongho starts crying.

"Hyung, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt hyung's feelings. I was just having a bad day." He sobs as he says that.

"Aww baby what made your day so bad?" I say as i wipe his tears using my thumb which is then followed by more tears.

"I don't know, I've just been feeling off since i woke up. I was having one of those days, classes were terrible. I really didn't mean to do what i did today. I'm sorry." He says as he cries even harder.

At that moment i get up and hug him. I try to calm him down as much as possible.

"Shh it's okay Jongho, i know you didn't mean what you said. I forgive you for it. But make sure you apologise to Seonghwa too, he's the one you actually swore at."

"Can i go apologise to him now?"

"He's asleep by now i think, but do make sure you do that first thing in the morning. Also sleep here for today, i asked him to sleep at your bed for today."

"..ok hyung." Jongho says as he lays on Seonghwa hyung's bed. I stroke his head.

"Oh and Jongho? If anything is bothering you, please do tell anyone of us, we'll always be there for you alright?"

"I promise i will hyung." I smile at that reply and keep stroking his head until he falls asleep. I then switch off the lights, climb to my bed and eventually drift to sleep.
