Jongho our precious Maknae

Jongho and San

Due to his recent ankle injury , Jongho had been asked to rest as much as he possibly can. While the rest of Ateez kept up with the tougher schedules, all Jongho could do was laze around, then sing, try to annoy his hyungs, go back to sighing in boredom again and then do some arm exercises untill he falls asleep.

Jongho did get tired if this evetually and so he decided to go out. He knew that none of the members would be home until later tonight so why not get some fresh air. So he somehow got dressed up and took his crutches cause screw the wheel chair and head towards the door.

Well he tried to but was caught by San.

"Uhhh hyung, why are you back so early?" Jongho says in shock.

San just stands there right in front of the door looking confused. He the replies almost jokingly, "Why wouldn't i be? I'm here to make sure you don't die from boredom or get injured even more."

Jongho felt guilty. He felt like he was forcing his members to take their precious time of their schedule and waste it on him. He looks down and  starts to apologise."Sorry hyung. You don't have to worry about me and I'm sorry from taking you away from your schedule."

San's expression immediately changes. He realises that he made his you gest brother feel bad. He immediately goes upto him and pats him on the head while giving him a kind expression. "Hey no, Jongho don't worry about it, I just happen to finish my schedule early that's all. Don't feel bad Jongho, let your Hyung take care of you okay?"

He then cups his face and then pinches his cheecks. "So don't feel bad about it, you're very important for us and we love you okay?"

Jongho looks up to San and gives a fake happy hum. San noticed that but he ignored it for now.

"Great now that's settled, i see you're a bit dressed up. You going to the park?"

"Yea, i got tired of sitting at home all day, and i wanted some freash air." Jongho replies honestly.

"Okay then, lemme come with you, just give me a minute to freshen up and get your wheelchair for when you do get tired."

Jongho was glad that he was being accompanied but was about to protest against the wheelchair, but reading San's expression, he knew he couldn't win so he gave up.

San quickly freshened up, took the chair and then the both of them left their dorm.

The walk to the park was mostly quite and a little bit awkward, Jongho started talking about his day follwed by San. And then it was quite for the rest of the trip.

At the park Jongho sat at bench under a tree and admired the view of the park. San went to get them both two canned drinks. After getting the drinks he gives one can to Jongho and then sits next to him sipping his own.

While finishing up their drinks, they talk about their members and then thier families. It goes on for a couple of hours and then they exchange jokes with each other until its time to go home. Before they go, they get some rameyon and some other snacks. And at this point San tells that Jongho sit on chair as they go home. Jongho who at this point is irritated by his crutches, agrees.

They both head back with the snacks on Jongho's lap while San pushes the wheelchair.

"Hey hyung." Jongho calls out to San. San reponds to him with a hum while still pusihing. "I just wanted to say...thanks for taking care of me, I know I am a burden right now and should be working now, I will try not to cause you all trouble."

San stops walking as he processes what Jongho just said. He then walks in front of the maknae and then puts his hands on his shoulders. "Jongho...you aren't a burden and don't ever think that, we genuinely care about you and want you you yo take care of you. You are our youngest and precious member and accidents happen, it's okay. Just know that we are super proud of you, so don't ever think that way." He then pats his head and smiles, "you'll grow up fine Jongho, and we support you all the way." 

Jongho was speechless. He would've started crying then and there but he didn't. He never usually cried, but he did feel that pang in his heart. He really did love his brothers and they indeed loved him back too.

Jongho mumbles a "thank you". It wasn't too loud for anyone to hear, but since San was still right infront if him, he clearly saw him mouth it. San smiles and then gets up. He pats Jongho at the back and then they both go home.

Heyyo hope you guys like this smol chap, i was super tired when i wrote this like three days ago and then finally fixed some stuff again today...while still sleepy XD.
