Kiss of a Vampire

Chapter 2

"A vampire kissed me."

I don't know but the moment I woke up, despite the pain on my head due to a hangover, that was the first thing I thought of.

"Are you still drunk?" I turned my attention to the girl beside me who I think, is hangover too.

That was when I realized. I'm at a condo with Chrissa and oh, "Liam." I uttered to my own mind when I realized that we were at Liam's condo.

I woke up at a bed with Chrissa who just heard the first absurd thing I uttered the moment I woke up.

Yeah. It's absurd. There's no such thing as vampires. It's just a product of one's imagination.

"Hangover." I excused myself and went to the kitchen to drink water.

This condo is owned by Liam and we sometimes, hangout here. His place is neat and that is the main reason why we always like it here.. especially Chrissa and me among the writers and directors we know.

"I have to leave." I uttered but before I could even fetch my stuffs at the floor, a guy came in from the door.

"I bought foods. Eat first." Liam sweetly uttered while holding on a plastic, probably filled with hangover soups and some foods and drinks.

I gave him a smile and hurriedly grabbed the plastic from his hand. If only he wasn't gay, I would marry him.

I laid the foods on top of the table. Chrissa joined in too and started eating.

I took a spoonful of soup and tasted it.

"Perfect!" My eyes probably sparkled. Liam, who never drinks at all, looked at me and Chrissa disgusted.

"Who even told you to drink if you'd just get pain the moment after?" I grinned and so did Chrissa.

"We can drink since you're there, our loyal friend!" Chrissa said and I agree. We started this friendship when we worked on a movie together and it became a hit.

That was years ago. And well, Liam is indeed a loyal friend cause whenever Chrissa and me get drunk, we always found ourselves at his home.

Just like now.

"I can somehow understand Chrissa. But you, Allys!" I stopped smiling when he suddenly pointed me out with such a mad expression on his face. Chrissa looked at me too.

"What were you doing at the rooftop alone? You were freezing when I found you!" What?

I almost dropped the spoon when I heard him.

So I really did went there. But then, "Was I not with someone?" I asked Liam, not giving it a much thought.

"What are you saying? Everyone went home already and some even slept at the bar. There was no one with you."

Liam just looked at me clueless and seconds after, he shrugged off that idea and spoke, "Next time, I won't be fetching you like that."

They continued talking but I was left there, sitting.. while my mind is being taken away from numerous questions and thoughts on my mind about last night.

I was with no one.. But then, why does it feels like it's a lie?

I drove my car to where my condo is since I still needed to rest and I don't wanna bother Liam. He's working on a story.

I was still wearing my dress and heels when I hopped out from my car. But thankfully, I was able to borrow a coat from  Liam.
