Peter's POV
I sat in my car waiting for Riley to find her way here, listening to the rain against the roof of the car.
Riley came running over as the rain poured down quickly jumping into the car.
"Let's go before I'm late" she said.
"Yes ma'am" I said putting the car in drive. We arrived at the doctor's office and we're taken back immediately considering we were a few minutes late.
"I see you've brought Peter again" The doctor said when she walking in.
"Yeah" Riley said with a slight nod.
"I see is there any chance you could bring your mom or someone next time?" She asked "I have a few things I need to discuss with her"
"I can bring my Dad" Riley said.
"That works too" she replied logging into her computer.
"Peter's just my ride to and from school since they're always right after school I don't have to time to go home"
"That's fine I completely understand" she said with a smile.
After the appointment I dropped Riley off at the compound before heading home again. I parked my car in the garage and walked over to where Dad was working on something.
"Whatcha doooin?" I asked peering over his shoulder.
"Jesus Peter back up" He replied. I backed up and walked to the side of his desk.
"So what are you doing?" I asked.
"Working on upgrades for FRIDAY" he said tinkering with something on the hologram in from of him.
I watched him work for a while before going upstairs. I sat down at the dining table and pulled out calculus homework.
Good at science horrible at math I sighed staring down at the unmarked worksheet. "You okay kid?" Dad asked looking over my shoulder at the worksheet.
"Just trouble with calculus what else is new?" I said.
"Let me see" he taking the worksheet. After he managed to help me I went to my room and put my bookbag away.
I took off my binder and put on a tight sports bra and a T-shirt and basketball shorts.
I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge before going to the training room dad had installed not too long ago.
"Hey Peter where you headed?" Mom asked as I passed the kitchen.
"Just the training room" I said before continuing my trek to the training room.
Riley's POV
"What did the punching bag ever do to you?" I asked Dad from the doorway of the gym.
He shrugged and started to unwrap his hands. I walked over sitting down next to his bag.
"How'd the appointment go?" He asked.
"Great Bean is perfectly healthy and so am I" I said.
"Bean?" He asked with amusement on his face.
"What?" I asked "can't exactly come up with a name before we know the gender"
He chuckled "come on we're on dinner duty"
I groaned "can't Bucky do it with you?"
"Bucky is on a mission in Wakanda won't be back til Sunday" he said. "So you're my partner for dinner duty now"
