Chapter 3
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz I swish my hand across my face, trying to get rid of this noise. Minutes later the noise comes again as the mosquito landed on my arm. Slap. I sit up and looked around when sudden memories of last night came flooding into my mind.
I got up, my legs feeling a bit better but still ached.
I decided to walk to see if anyone woke up but everyone is still the same, injured, pale and lifeless. I saw a dark blue adventure backpack lying on the ground when I decided to see if there was any food or water. I unzipped the bag to I come across three chocolate biscuits, a salad sandwich, one tablet which looks like a sickness tablet and a small bottle of water.
"Thank goodness" I mutter even though no one could hear. I gulp half the bottle of water and chewed one of the chocolate biscuits. I had to save my food for the long days ahead so I could survive. I grab the backpack and pulled it over my shoulders and began to walk, remembering where the entry was.
Walking on the hard brown soil, I saw the entry just ahead. It looks like it will take most of the day so I decide to take a break under a tree. I took half of the salad sandwich and starting munching on it and then started to begin walking toward the entry.
I arrived at the entry way at sunset. The yellow - orange skies in the horizons with the brown dirt road ahead made me think about just giving up now and taking matters in my own hands but I wanted to keep going. I decided I had enough of today. I place my head on my backpack and soon sleep took over me.
Thanks once again @thekmonkey
