Sam stood over the bowl, his hands shaking slightly. He squeezed his eyes shut and took a deep breath before sliding the cold blade across his palm. He squeezed the wound and dark crimson blood ran down his wrist and into the bowl, "chuparle a alguien la sangre" .
She smiled, quite literally to drain the blood out of someone.
Sam looked up at her, "What is the next ingredient?"
To save your friend you must restore what makes him human, first his blood which you sacrificed, then a human heart, finally a soul will heal his wounds and erase any memory he had of this place.
Sam sighed and turned to the kitchen sink, feverishly scrubbing the blood off his hands. The very sight of it reminded him of Colby and the way he looked up at him, all broken and twisted.
He grasped onto the edge of the counter with white knuckles and let the running water drown out the memory of Colby's screams, after regaining his composure he turned to Allison.
"Where am I supposed to get a human heart?"
Don't worry Sam
She laughed.
I would never make you hurt someone
He scoffed.
You don't trust me?
He growled, "My best friend is dead and you're blackmailing me."
I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE HIM.
She sighed.
I'm sorry Sam, being all alone here for so many years has been..hard. You need to find my corpse, you can take my heart for the spell.
"Wait you were buried here? On the island?"
Of course silly, didn't you know that each doll represents a lost soul?
His eyes widened and he mumbled to himself, "We made a big mistake coming here."
No matter, soon your friend will be saved and you can leave this island..unlike me.
Allison sat on the edge of the countertop and her porcelain shoulders almost seemed to slump. Things weren't adding up.
"Allison why are you helping me?"
The living categorize the dead as either poltergeists or devils, there is no in between. I just want to prove that some ghosts are good people that met a horrible fate.
Sam thought back to all of the investigations and seances, they were always trying to prove ghosts existed but never that they were kind. He always assumed ghosts wanted to manipulate and hurt humans, especially after Queen Mary.
"Allison I'm sorry I've been so judgmental but I don't understand, Colby doesn't have a soul? He fell through a staircase he didn't get possessed or something.
Some of the spirits on this island are tortured. They met a horrible fate and their souls have been forced to serve Satan for eternity. Sometimes ghosts will kill humans and use them as offerings to the devil in return for freedom.
"So you think a bad spirit took Colby's soul?"
Yes, now come. We must hurry.
"What happens if we don't save him before the ghost gives him to Satan?"
He will be condemned to hell for the rest of eternity.
