"Damn," the raven haired male said, eyes staring down the uniformed server. "You put the hot in hot sauce."
The moment those words came out of Jungkook's mouth, you were leaning over the table and smacking him on the head as hard as you could. Your eyes watched sympathetically as the poor waitress, now blushing a deep red in clear uncomfortableness, almost dropped the plates in her hands.
"U-Uh, sorry- I'm gonna-" She stuttered in response, practically running to the back once she had gathered all the dishes.
"Jungkook," you hissed once she was gone, the guy wincing and rubbing the spot where you had hit him. "You did not just fucking say that."
He scowled and picked up the hot sauce bottle sitting against the wall, waving it around. "I was just flirting! Why did you hit me so hard?"
You ripped the bottle of his goddamn "hot sauce" away and slammed it down in its original spot. "'You put the hot in hot sauce'?" You mocked him. "The poor girl did not need to suffer hearing that."
Jungkook stubbornly crossed his arms over his chest. "Why are you mad? I didn't say anything to you!"
You raised an eyebrow at him, wanting to smack the smug look off his face. "I have to be freaking associated with this," you waved a hand and gestured to his being sitting slumped in his chair, pouting over the failed attempt to flirt. "A walking, living piece of embarrassment- that's why!"
He rolled his eyes and you fell against the back of your chair, slamming a hand to your forehead. "Hot sauce of all things," you said to yourself. "I shouldn't even be surprised."
Jungkook shot up in protest. "Yah! It was good!"
You gave him a look and he grunted, looking away. You got the bill and you two paid for your food, greeting the familiar owner of your favorite restaurant who came by to say hello. It was the restaurant you and Jungkook had been going to ever since you were kids, so she knew the two of you well.
"See you both soon!" The owner said warmly as you stood to leave. Jungkook quickly grabbed his bag as you got a hold of his arm, dragging him with you as the two of you headed out of the small restaurant.
The sun was high in the sky, the summer breeze warm when you stepped out, the two of you heading towards the raven haired's car.
"Y/N, I could have gotten that girl's number! She was pretty." Jungkook resisted your pull weakly, both of you knowing he could easily pull away if he really wanted to.
Your attention turned slightly to acknowledge the train pulling into the town's station, right next to the restaurant, loud and noisy.
"As your best friend," you scoffed, returning your focus to the boy. "I'm going to be nice and save you from a moment of pure torture by not letting you go back in there."
When you felt his resistance grow, you quickly jumped onto his back, the boy stumbling to catch you and he yelled out in shock.
"Hey! Don't do that!" He exclaimed. "I could have dropped you!"
You wrapped your arms around him tightly, voice smug. "You can go back if you want, but I'll be stuck to you. Not sure if she'll wanna talk with me there."
He whined in painful defeat, holding you securely so you didn't fall, even if you knew he had thought about dropping you. Jungkook didn't like losing, but you managed to make him lose quite often.
Once you saw the jet black vehicle blink it's lights from Jungkook unlocking it, you jumped off his back, clambering inside. You buckled in as he jumped into the driver's seat.
