"There!" Jimin exclaimed, voice channeling like a bullet through your doubts and emptying your worry into a feeling of success. "That's the one!"

The four of you scattered to a stop before the familiar looking steel door, although the one in front of you looked much older and unkept compared to the others.

A secret entrance indeed.

Following the map was not difficult past the help you had gotten from the 'Taeyong' rebel near the transport bay. You and Taehyung knew what dangers there were already, allowing the cautious and awareness to aid your second time traveling.

"We haven't gotten the signal yet." Hoseok breathed out as he leaned against the wall tiredly. "We don't go until the first bomb has gone off."

You all knew that already. If you unlocked the door with the code you had been tipped off with by Jackson, they would notice the alert right away. But, with a flurry of frustration from a third bombing, they would be distracted enough to miss it.

"Any minute now." You softly pleaded, hating that you were sitting around like ducks. The time seemed to drag on, making the doubt seep back in the form of many questions. Had they made it to the base? What is they were caught? They didn't have any weapons on themselves either...

"Tata, stop that." Taehyung put a hand on your head and you snapped out of your thoughts to gaze up at him. "I can tell you're overthinking."

"Sorry." You mumbled and relaxed your tense muscles.

Taehyung smiled softly and ruffled your hair. "Don't worry, Jungkook will set off an explosion in your heart."

You tased his side and he yelped through his small laughter. "Shut your damn mouth." You groaned. "Hopefully he explodes the tunnels, not my heart."

Jimin and Hoseok were smiling to each other, watching the sibling interaction when the ground softly tumbled, causing all of your attention to avert down the hall where some loud explosion faintly echoed.

Good timing.

"That's it!" You exclaimed, gently nudging Taehyung away. "Go, go!"

Scrambling for the door's keypad, Jimin recited the code aloud as he punched it in, the low click making you sigh in relief as he shoved the door open. Hurrying into the safety of the sealed access, the space went eerily quiet without the sudden distraction. Inside, there was a ladder similar to the one by your home's access point, the air feeling dry but as you followed the ladder upwards, you could see light peeking through a seal at the top.

"Okay," Jimin lead, "brace yourselves!"

Following the plan, you all took a place in the corner of the small entry way, tucking into balls and holding tightly each other as you waited for the expected second explosion.

It took a couple of minutes, but soon it went off, exploding somewhere much closer to where you were. Planned to be by a direct connection to the URC's power lines, it was an ideal remote location that would shut the building down for a while without destroying the place.

The whole space shook, making you all panic and burrow into each other, ceiling depositing dust into the thick air and debris cracking off the walls.

"Stay in tact, stay in tact, stay in tact," Hoseok was whispering, gripping onto you tightly.

You could feel his heartbeat against your arm and you held his hand with equal force until the shaking settled and dust began to thin.

"A-Are we alive?" Jimin's unstable voice cut in.
