Truth [DS Fanfic] Tanjiro×Muzan

"Now, tell me what do you know." Tanjiro asked. Giyu smirks and says "I don't listen to demon's orders." Tanjiro nods, he looks away before saying "Years ago, when I was nothing. What happened to my family. You know best. Even the minor details." Giyu takes a step back. Intimidated. Tanjiro turns and stares at Giyu, his eyes are bright red.

*A heartbeat* Giyu froze in place. "It's true...I.."

"Say it."

Giyu drops to the ground. He grits his teeth. "You were in-charge..in overseeing the captive demons." Tanjiro starts. Giyu shock by Tanjiro's comments... Nezuko continues to listen to the conversation. "No...I refused to say it! First form: Water Surfaced Slash!" Giyu send a wave towards Tanjiro which he jumps and hang on to the ceiling on all fours. He rotate his neck, as lines starts to form along his cheeks. It spread open, teeth starts to grow. Tanjiro looks at Giyu. Giyu noticed him. "What kind of abomination is this?!" Giyu thought to himself. Tanjiro opens his mouth, a ball of dark red material starts to form. It shoots at Giyu, Giyu dodge it and it explodes on impact sending Giyu to the walls. He land on the ground.

Tanjiro lands to the ground, he stands up. His long strands of hair covers his massive mouth but it's still not enough to cover everything as we can see, saliva dripping. "Do you want to know something? I found out a lot of things about you. From the nice, to the ugly. Remember a demon named Auria Sikamaru!" Tanjiro yelled. He walks about and says "Oh you know him." Giyu watches with horror. Tanjiro turns to Giyu and continues "Nezuko. Remember anything?!" Nezuko immerse from the walls. Giyu shocked by her presence. Tanjiro states "If you can't tell me.." a monstrous voice immerse after "Then tell her the truth." Tanjiro pounds on Giyu. Pinning him down.

"Say it. Reveal it!"

It was raining...Giyu walks about the Demon Slayer Corps, a new cart that was warded to stop the demon from escaping can be seen. He looks at it as it goes towards the mountain. He spotted something different...The protection paper, it's wearing off, but he did nothing, he thought it was fine...The next day, Kagaya ordered Giyu to hunt down the demon at Tanjiro's house. Giyu reaches the house. It's Auria, feeding on the family. Giyu preps his blade. "My my..look who we have. It's Giyu. The one pillar that I hated the most." Auria said. It runs to him and attacks him only for Giyu to slice the neck off. It burns into ashes, leaving the messy bloody path. Giyu runs away in horror.

Tanjiro walks about and says "You killed the demon, but yet you didn't ever stop to look at her." Tanjiro states pointing at Nezuko. Giyu cries, he grab his blade, realising wave after wave at Tanjiro, like a lose cannon. Tanjiro growls jumping around, using his tail to break those waves, before spitting energy balls at Giyu which he blocked. "I am not in the wrong! I did nothing wrong!" Giyu yelled. Tanjiro upon hearing the comment, he gets even angrier. "Admit it!" He yelled, realising fireballs at him this time. Nezuko watches, she can't help but to cry.

Kokushibo preps himself, he grabs his blade and released several moon like waves at Kyojuro, which he dodge it. He send his breath of fire at him. Kokushibo dodge with ease. Kokushibo jumps into the air, and send an attack to the ceiling causing it to crumble and fall on Kyojuro. Kokushibo turns around without expecting it. Kyojuro send a wave of fire towards him. Slicing Kokushibo's neck. He drops to the ground. Kyojuro watches vomiting blood. "My lungs are crushed in...is this...the end..." Kyojuro faints.

Muzan attacks Obanai with his tentacles slicing whatever thing is in his way. Obanai jumps, a serpent attacks Muzan which he gracefully slides it into two.
" Forth form: Twin-headed reptile." Obanai leaps forward sending a horizontal slash but Muzan dodge it by jumping into the air, using his humongous arm, it crushes Obanai. "!" Locking him in place.

Giyu crash against the wall and flew out of the cave, landing near the edge of cliff. Tanjiro jumps over and land on him. Giyu spits out blood, upon the impact. The blade is on the ground, Giyu attempts to take the blade, but Tanjiro grabs it with his skeleton tail. He takes it, looks at it feeling the firmness. "This is the blade that was tainted with Auria's blood as off my family. Now, it's time for you to pay." Tanjiro lift the blade up, attempting to slice Giyu's head off.

"Oni-chan!" Nezuko yelled. The blade just inches away of Giyu's neck. "Damn it." Tanjiro said. Nezuko runs over to them, telling Tanjiro "Oni-Chan! Stop..please..don't kill him. Don't kill him because of  what he has done...you will be the same as him!" Tanjiro bit his lips and reply "Don't bother us! Nezuko. I'm doing it for our family!" Nezuko kneel in front of Tanjiro and reply "Don't kill him. Why not let him live? Like they say, those who are alive will feel more pain than those who dies. Don't kill him, let him live."

".." Tanjiro stand in the middle of a black box. It's empty. Then he noticed one by one, his friends starts to appear "!". "Don't kill him...I beg you...Our family doesn't want you to do it because of revenge." Nezuko's voice can be heard. Tanjiro coming back to reality, he looks at his hands, those black nails... he turns to Nezuko and says "It's too late. I'm a demon now. I feed to live. Killing him doesn't mean anything."

"Remember the time, Giyu saved me!" Instead of killing Nezuko, he let Nezuko live. "He is a good person! He just so happens to be at a situation that he doesn't want too." Nezuko exclaimed. "Yes. Humans are prone to mistakes, it is how you perceive it, that is how you will heal, my child." Kagaya who is slowly coming over to them states. Tanjiro's hands starts to shake. Not knowing what to do. He growls, before throwing the blade aside. His skeleton tail goes over to Giyu's face. "I will let you live." Tanjiro said.

"No my child." Muzan jumps out of the cave. "Kill him." Muzan ordered. Tanjiro looks at Muzan, his eyebrows lowered. "No. Oni-Chan. Don't do it." Nezuko said to him. Tanjiro's mouth heals and he returns back to his normal looks. "No. My king. I would like to do it on my own accords." Tanjiro replies. Muzan's face starts to change, he is angry. "Are you not going to listen to my orders?" He asked, to which Tanjiro shakes his head lightly. Muzan grits his teeth disappearing after as it's dawn now... "Oni-Chan..Thank you." Nezuko said after Muzan is gone. It's not over yet. Tanjiro use his skeleton tail, he wrap Giyu and lift him up, he puts him over the edge. "No!" Nezuko yelled.

"I ask you one question. It will depends on whether you will live or die. When you first saw me. Why didn't you tell me?" Tanjiro said...To which Giyu answers... "When I first saw you, I couldn't help but to keep quiet, because I know it's not the right time to say it..at the same time, my work is on the line...I know..It's selfish of me to not say it..But I can't help it!"

"Live then. Live through the pain that you have dealt to me and Nezuko, for the rest of your life. This is not a pity, this is a punishment for your deeds. I will always watch you, I will revive you if you try to kill yourself from guilt. I will be there, forever." Tanjiro said. He throw Giyu back to the cliff. Retracting his tail. He turns back to Nezuko who is running over to Giyu. Nezuko took care of Giyu, she turns to Tanjiro, they look at each other, before Tanjiro turns away. "Thank you..Nezuko." He said as he disappears when the sun risen fully...
