Chapter 2 Slay 3

Tanjiro settles on the ground, in his jail cell. Closing his eyes, resting, then a sudden roar can be heard across his cell. He opens his eyes and he noticed several slayers attacking the captured demon. It screams before laying on the ground, burning into ashes. Tanjiro not affected by it look away, he closes his eyes...

*BOOM*

Tanjiro opens his eyes once more. "Damn it. "Tanjiro said in reaction to getting awoken again. This time around, Zenitsu is standing in front of Tanjiro outside of the cell.

Tanjiro: *Breath deeply through his nose* Where is Nezuko? *Tries to get to the iron bars, but the chain, locks him in place* WHY CAPTURE ME! I DID NOTHING WRONG!

Zenitsu guilty due to Tanjiro yelling at him.

Zenitsu: We suspect that you have brutally murdered and ate 50 individuals. They were found, in a cave that you are staying in.

Tanjiro: What? How can that be? How did I-

Tanjiro looks at his dried wounds on his wrist, then a sudden memory flashed before his eyes:

*Chewing noises*

*Dragging body down the chamber*

"My my, how delicious they are. Don't you think so?" The man said with a smile, bodies lay everywhere...Tanjiro settles on the bloody ground, his body is full of wounds after those humans fought against him, he is siting there, frozen. As the same man, he saw in his other memory, sitting in front of him, their legs are slightly wrapped around each other, their naked chest inches away from each other. The man, bloodied as well, touch Tanjiro's face. Feeling him. "You won't remember what you did, but it's alright, this is just between you and me." The man states as he bites Tanjiro's neck.

Zenitsu calls out to Tanjiro, which snaps him out of his vision. Tanjiro touched his neck, he looks at Zenitsu.

Tanjiro: I didn't do it. I was framed.

Zenitsu: But we have enough proof that you did it. Honestly, I can't have a say in this, Kagaya is the one that wants to prosecute you of the crime.

Tanjiro: If you don't have a say, why not try to barge in? Why allow them to hurt me? I AM YOUR FRIEND! *The chains locks him in place again* You own me.

Zenitsu: Look I am sorry!

Nezuko then comes walking over.

Tanjiro: Nezuko...Don't tell me you are with them in this!

Nezuko: Kagaya promised that he can return your human form to you, that's why I agreed to.

Tanjiro: How could you! How could ALL OF YOU DO THIS TO ME! I AM YOUR BROTHER! I AM YOUR FRIEND! I HELP THE CORPS TO FUCKING CLEAR DEMONS ON THE STREETS! And...And..this is HOW I AM GETTING TREATED? I AM FRAMED!

Nezuko: Oni-Chan, trust me I know how you feel-

Tanjiro: You FEEL NOTHING! How can you feel how I FELT when I am getting framed?! I AM THAT CLOSED into finding out who is that Ketsueki Sakkaku, but you had to tell me this? I wanted to tell you what I find when I am done. I want to help you, and this is how you treat me! It took me years to get that cure for you to turn you back to a human. *Tanjiro cries* And this is how I am getting it in return? Just because I am a demon now, it doesn't mean that I am a bad demon.

Zenitsu: Tanjiro, just listen-

Tanjiro: You have no rights to talk to me, you PATHETIC! Had I not save your ass, you wouldn't have been here. I saved you all the time, I thought we were friends, yet you are adamant that I did it. You ARE JUST LIKE THEM! *lay against the walls* I am not going to converse with the two of you ever again. Leave.

Nezuko: Oni-Cha-

Tanjiro: LEAVE !*With a hint of a monstrous voice in it*

Nezuko looks at Tanjiro one more time, as her mouth move "I am sorry." She whispers...They left afterwards, leaving Tanjiro alone. He cries as he place he hugs his legs together at the side of the cell. As he cries, a pair of hands appear through the walls, it grabs hold of Tanjiro's shoulders pulling him back, causing his head to tilt up. Tanjiro's eyes widen as he sees Muzan's face.  His tears continue to roll as Muzan looks at him.

"How can my boy just cry like that? You are weaker than I thought you were." Muzan states as he grins. "I am not weak." Tanjiro replied. Muzan then appears full-body right in front of Tanjiro, he looks at him. "You are weak. If you are not weak, you wouldn't have cried and or shout at them. Instead, you should have killed them when you have the chance." Muzan states, leaving Tanjiro shocked by what he hears. "No, I can't-" Tanjiro's words are cut short when Muzan replies "You are not human anymore, you can't think of yourself as a demon helping humans. It's impossible. That fellow demon that they killed just now. He is innocent, they are killing us, even though we are just trying to live. Since you are a demon now, shouldn't you be doing something to make sure that our kind still exist? You are trying to live as a human...No."

"You should kill them."
"Kill them."

Tanjiro's eyes filled with tears as he hits his lips.

"KILL THEM."
