Chapter 2 Slay 4

It might've been a nightmare...
Kinda thought they might care...
If I knew it all then would I do it again...
If they knew what they said would go straight to my head...
What would they say instead...

Nezuko and Zenitsu walk along the trail in the Demon Slayer Corps, "I know Tanjiro wouldn't listen to us. I just hope that he can understand as to why we are doing this for him." Zenitsu states. Nezuko nods as she replies "I know, this new demon is too powerful, I know Oni-Chan's powers. He is very strong, I just fear that he would get enticed into that new demon's powers and work with him. I don't want to lose my brother again." Nezuko stops and looks at Zenitsu, she hugs him as she cries. Zenitsu padded her head softly.

"Kagaya is the only one who can help us cure Tanjiro of the demon blood. We need to trust him, even though, Tanjiro might not know it, but we indeed care about him. Hope that one day he can realise and understand our plans for him." Zenitsu states.

Tanjiro sat there silent, as the light closes, he grits his teeth, pulling the chain. He stands up and looks at the rails, before looking at the end of the chains. He pulls again, the chain is not moving. Tanjiro takes a deep breath before rushing over to the rails and with the motion, it pulls the chain, trying to pry the chain off the walls. Tanjiro grits his teeth before yelling, trying to pull his arms free again.

"Tell me, why are you caring so much about them?"
"They treated you like a criminal to the things you have never done. How could they?"
"Was it worth it that you wanted to help them destroy that Ketsueki Sakkaku?"
"Think about it."

The walls slightly cracked. Tanjiro looks at the walls. It's working! Tanjiro pulls again...

"Let me help you."

Tanjiro's iris turns bright red, this time round with a monstrous scream, he pulls. The walls start to break. Sirens can be heard as many slayers are called to the scene. Tanjiro screams again and the walls break, sending smoke throughout the place. Nezuko and Zenitsu arrive and they couldn't see Tanjiro. "Oni-Chan don't do anything stupid! Please stay in there for your own good!"Nezuko yells, but no one reply. The sound of chains rumbling went silent. Then, a sound of the rails breaking can be heard, seconds after a projectile appears through the smoke. It's directed straight towards the group of slayers, some managed to escape but some are killed on impact. An explosion occurred. Then it went quiet...

As the smoke subsides, they can see Tanjiro with the chains still wrap around his wrists, he walks out of the cell and stood in front far away from Nezuko and Zenitsu, looking at them, as Slayers wrap around Tanjiro, preparing to attack. Tanjiro crack his neck as he says "No one can stop me. Not even the two of you." Nezuko tries to speak to him, but Zenistu stops her. Tanjiro smiles, then he turns his body along with the chains, he slices all the slayers around him. In one movement, causing the place to rain blood. As blood stains his face, he licks his lips, tasting it. "We were trying to help you, Tanjiro. I hope you know that. Sorry Tanjiro." Zenitsu said, removing his blade from his hoster. He grabs hold of the blade "First form: Thunderclap and Flash."  Zenitsu dashes forward, but Tanjiro just nonchalantly jumps into the air, turning his body, over Zenitsu. He missed the attack.

Tanjiro lands on the ground and uses his chains, attempting to strike Zenitsu with it. Zenitsu jumps away, but Tanjiro turns around revealing his tail, he hits Zenitsu with his tail instead and it sends him a few meters away. Tanjiro turns to Nezuko, looking at her, as she tries to hold her blade. Fear incites her as she drops to the ground, while Tanjiro slowly goes over to her. "Oni-Chan.."Nezuko fearfully said.

"You are not me..."A voice in Tanjiro's head telling him, he looks around, but no one is there talking to him, yet the voices continues. "Stop!" Tanjiro yells the voices finally stops, he looks at Nezuko again and smiles saying "Now that the voice is out of my head, it's time for me to settle a debt with you, Nezuko." He laughs. He takes a step and stops once more, his face frozen, *BEEEEEP* Tanjiro kneel to the ground holding his head in pain. "You have no rights to be in control! This is my body! You are not me MUZAN!" Tanjiro yells and then, his iris returns to his normal colour, then as he looks to his right...

"Seventh Form: Gale - Sudden Gusts."

Tanjiro couldn't react in time, he gets hit by the gust of wind and it sends Tanjiro out of the prison through the prison walls and he falls over the cliff... "NO!" Nezuko yells, she rushes to the cliff, she looks around and no one is there...
