Hey all, Aftercroft here! Books done! Which means Symphony is coming back. But news aside.
I've always wanted a book with a bitter ending. A real fight and when it seems like the hero's won... well. The book went through multiple iterations. Originally I was going to write it so that Chris slowly devolved into the bad guy and Mana had a redemption arc type thing but I scrapped that pretty early. Also, another thing, while I will be focusing many on Symphony there is going to be an off-shoot of this book about what all Mana does while 'dead'. Speaking of which, I'd love feedback on if anyone figured out the Mana was alive. I tried to drop hints but I had to remove a lot because it got a little too obvious with some of them. The story originally had a very different ending, but I ended up using this one because the other one made no sense. Maybe one day I'll go back and do a new edition with the altered ending.
