"This will be your room," Victor said as he opened the door. He stepped in and turned the lights on before helping Sandra and I get our suitcases in. We all walked inside and checked the room out. Sandra walked towards the curtain covered windows. She gently moved the curtains aside allowing the afternoon rays of the sun to seep its way in the room. "The view from here's really good!" She exclaimed.

I was about to walk towards her when Victor grabbed my hand. "Hmm?" Turning around, I saw him sheepishly scratching his temple. "What is it?"

"I plan on having a dip in the pool later, wanna join me?" He asked. Now that I think of it, I haven't swum in cold waters for a while. Back at Yuuri's all we had was hot springs. Remember the first time Victor and I used the hot springs? Both of us relaxed in the same waters, didn't we? It turns out that that wasn't allowed and there is a separate hot spring for women. I found that out while chatting with Minako. Good thing Yuuri's parents closed early and that no one was able to see us. Oops, mistakes happen.

"(Y/n)?" Victor asked, gently squeezing my hand to take me out of my thoughts. "Sorry, something crossed my mind," I chuckled. "Sure, I'd be there." Victor's eyes sparkled at my answer. "Well then, I'd come pick you up later, okay? Maybe around six," he said. I nodded in response. Before heading out of the room, he gave me a quick kiss on the forehead and eventually walked out.

I turned to the window where Sandra was still looking out at. I walked towards her and stood beside her. Before our eyes laid a magnificent view of Barcelona's superblocks. The city is arranged in a strict grid pattern of equal-sized blocks. Long, wide streets cut across the blocks in order to facilitate transport and navigation. Each block has chamfered corners giving the impression that they were "cut off."

Being here a few times before, the scenery doesn't surprise me anymore although it never fails to feed my eyes with beauty. "Why is Barcelona built in squares?" Sandra asks, breaking off the silence. "I've only seen this in pictures. It looks magnificent in person."

"I was told that this detail provides greater air circulation in the streets, higher visibility around corners and would make it possible for vehicles to easily turn the corners of the blocks," I answered. "The blocks were also all oriented in a NW-SE direction so as to ensure that each household received enough natural light each day."

"That's cool," Sandra replied. As if full of the scenery, she turned around and made her way towards the beds. She hopped on one of them and laid down. Her body sinks in the soft cushion as she did. "Ahh, this feels good!"

I walked towards her and sat at the edge of the bed. "Victor and I'll be heading towards the rooftop pool later. Wanna come?" I asked. With eyes closed, she waved a hand and answered, "I think I'll pass. I feel so sleepy today." She sat out for a while to remove her blazer then folded it neatly and placed it on the bedside table.

"Okay then, if you say so," I replied as I stood. "Rest well." I walked towards my suitcase to take out a few clothes and the swimwear I'd use later.

Around 5:30, I decided to change into my swimwear. I headed towards the bathroom with the swimsuit and a robe in hand. I peeled off the clothes I was wearing one by one and changed into the swimwear. It's a vintage off-shoulder ruffled swimsuit. Looking at the mirror, the white swimwear has palm leaf designs all over it. It has a padded push-up bra for no show-through and shaping. The smooth fabric embraces my body and highlights my curve.

Satisfied with how I look, I covered my body with a short pink plush robe. I made my way out of the bathroom just in time for Victor's knock to echo in the silent room. "Wait a sec," I said loud enough for him to hear at the other side of the door. I neatly set aside the garments in hand as I made my way to my bedside table to place them there.

Soon after, I gently opened the door, careful not to disturb Sandra in her sleep. Victor stood outside. He's wearing a black plaid robe. I'd be lying if I said he doesn't look good in it. To be honest, is there anything he doesn't look good in? He carries every outfit very well.

He extended his hand forward offering it to me, "Shall we?" I smiled as I placed my hand on his. He caressed it and pulled me closer. Without further ado, we made our way towards the elevator that'll take us to the rooftop.

"Where's Yuuri?" I asked once we were inside the elevator. Not long after the door closes, the elevator began to move upwards yet the feeling it gave me was the opposite. "In the room sleeping. He's suffering from jet lag and needs rest," Victor answered. Well, that explains why I haven't seen him since our arrival this afternoon.

Before we knew it, we were already by the rooftop, making our way towards the pool. We passed by a number of white beach chairs as we walked towards the three-step staircase that leads to the pool since it is a little elevated.

We are now standing by the pool's edge looking over the water. The pool is illuminated by the lights installed underwater. Across from where we're standing is a wall of glass panes that gives you a view of the city lights.

Victor let go of my hand as he began to untie his robe. I went on to the same but as I fiddle with the ribbon of my robe, I can't help but glance at him every once in a while. He slid the cloth down his shoulders revealing his toned back. His robe fell on the pool edge. A faint blush found its way towards my cheeks.

He turned around to see me still wrapped in the softness of my robe. He gave me a soft smile, "Well, then, I'd go first." He jumped into the pool, splashing water to my foot in the process. He remained underwater for a while. I took it as a chance to remove my robe. I slid it off my shoulders and it fell on the ground.

Victor slowly allowed himself to float up. I waited until he reached the surface before jumping in. His torso peeked out of the water and he wiped the liquid off his face. He looked up at me as I stood. Without knowing if I'll land on him or not, "Catch!" I said as I jumped forward.

My action took him by surprise but he didn't fail to catch me. I landed right in his embrace as we both sunk underwater. My arms wrapped around his shoulders as I pressed my body closer to his. His arms found their way around my waist hugging me tightly. My face leaned closer towards him as I pecked his lips. The short contact was enough to bring a smile to his face before swimming up and dragging me along with him.

I gasped for air as soon as my upper body reached the surface of the water. Unknowingly, I removed my arm around him to wipe the water off my face. Before my lungs were able to fully recover, Victor placed his hand on my waist, turning me around to face him. Before I could process what was happening, his soft lips pressed on mine.

I stared at him for a while, admiring his wet face that gleams because of the light underwater. His eyes were closed as he patiently waits for me to return the kiss. Eventually, I leaned in closer to deepen the kiss. My arms were once again wrapped around his shoulders. His hands were sliding up and down my waist synchronized with the movements of his tongue.

For a second, we broke the kiss only to reconnect our lips, his arms finally wrapping around me. It's December and the night air's a lot cooler than normal. It sent shivers down my spine as it's harsh chill graced my exposed skin. Yet the cold air was no match for the warmth I feel inside me as butterflies flutter across my stomach.

Victor moved one of his hands from my back upwards towards my cheek, giving it a tender caress before moving it down to the side of my neck. For a long time, our lips remained in touch as Victor's love filled my soul. It dawned on me how much I missed him despite the fact that I kept myself busy with practice to ignore the aching of my heart.
