*Hola, sorry this is so late. Again. I went on a cruise for 7 days and when I came back I was overloaded with schoolwork. After that, I jut don't feel like doing anything. Oh and, sorry, this is going to be just a short little insignificant event.

Disclaimer: Duh, the Doctor is not mine...... sadly....

Chapter 16: Death by Child

~Previously~

“Just call me Kailtyn. That is my name.” she said kindly.

“Well, thank you, Kaitlyn!” The short one said excitedly. They were so happy to have a first-name basis with someone royal. “You're so very kind. Not many are like you. Most of our royals were.... well, they weren't nearly as kind as you are, miss.”

“Well thank you, but... who was it that wasn't kind? I know my dad is the kindest person on Earth....”

“Earth?” The tall one asked, her face twisted in confusion.

“That's were I came from... well, I come from here, but that's were I was. Before I came back. Anyway, he's very kind.

~Now~

“Anyway, miss, we came to you to inform you to change into you're dining gown.” The tall one said excitedly.

“Seriously?” Kait asked, she wasn't a big fan of dressing up. She couldn't say no though, but she figured only a few days before she go and run away with the Doctor again.

They took her away to a big chamber filled with fancy clothes of all sorts. She was taken to a section of specific things she was supposedly to wear on this occasion. How they knew what fit her and what didn't, was a mystery she never found out.

The two girls were on their way to pick something out for her, but she stopped them temporarily. “Wait a second.” she said.

They stopped immediately and looked at her, awaiting her command.

Kait smiled politely and asked, “What's your names?”

“Marie, miss.” the tall one said.

“Carie, miss.” the short one said.

“Alright, Marie and Carie, thank you.” Kait said, glad to be finally knowing names and not referring to them by their heights.

“Thanks, Kaitlyn!” they said in unison before continuing to get her dressed and prepped.

“No, seriously. There were giant cats, trying to kill us!” the Doctor said excitedly to a little girl he had been talking to while waiting for Kaitlyn to come back.

The girl giggled and called over her little group of friends to show them the strange man she had met.

They all ran over quickly, smiling and showing their tiny little teeth. They then assembled around the Doctor and the little girl to watch them as they played some sort of hand game.

She would make some sort of symbol with her hand and the Doctor would make a new one that went with it before she called him out.

“HA! The dog always destroys the fish! Sorry Seely, maybe you can beat me next time.” the Doctor bragged with a smug look on his face.

A little boy from the group of kids came out to rescue Seely and put his hand in the same of a 'gun' and pretended to shoot the Doctor.

He decided it would be fun to play along, of course if a kid shoots you, you always have to die anyway. He dramatically put his hand over one of his hearts and fell to floor while making some rather disturbing sounds and 'dying'.

The kids all giggled and gathered around his unmoving form. “We should put some fish guts on his face....” one of them whispered, leaning over the Doctor's face.

Just at that moment everyone got quiet. The kids all found their way to their parents, leaving the Doctor alone and 'dying' on the floor. He opened one of his eyes, noticing the quiet and sat up.

“Where’d you guys go?” he asked to no one in particular. He got to his feet and looked around. Everyone was focused on one thing entering the room.

Kait and her dad, side by side were slowly making their way to the front of the large room. Her eyes caught the Doctor's and she couldn't help laugh. He was standing alone, in the middle of the room and smiling like he just did something incredibly stupid.

Seely came and tugged on the tail of his jacket and pulled him out of the way as the two royals came to a stop at a huge table in the front part of the very large room.

They turned and faced the people. “Hello everyone!” Eric announced, “I am proud to say that my lovely daughter has finally come. And as a celebration to this long awaited event, I give you all a feast. So... stuff yourselves...” he said smiling and signaling everyone to go back to doing whatever it was they were doing before.

*There was going to be more, but I wanted to stop it there and get some feedback maybe. I'm not quite sure if I want to end it, or stick to the original plot I had. Which actually has nothing to with what's happening now. So, I guess that's it. That's part of the reason I keep putting it off. I really don't know what I want to do with it. I also have so many other things that keep popping into my head.
