Jemma's POV
I woke up with this giddy feeling, slowly pushing the weight off of my body, I inclined my head to look at the owner of the hand that was on my waist.
My boyfriend laid there asleep, his eyes closed and his long lashes casting a shadow on his cheeks and his lips slightly parted.
My boyfriend I reminded myself. This all feels like a dream to me. Last night I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest from how excited I was. I couldn't tear my gaze from his perfectly sculptured face as I laid there, admiring the view in front of me.
His eyes fluttered open and his blue eyes met mine. A smile made itself on his face as he pulled me to him and quickly pecked my lips, "good morning girlfriend."
This was cheesy I know but please, I deserve one of those moments, "good morning boyfriend." I held his face in my hands, slightly brushing my hands on the light stubble that had made its appearance on his face. He hasn't shaved on a while.
"Sleep well?" He licked his lips, unconsciously, inviting me to kiss them.
"The best," I told him truthfully. "You?"
"Mhm," he leaned in and pressed his lips with mine.
Jasper stood up and I frowned, "where are you going?"
"To take a shower, you should take one too, I want to show you something or rather, I want to talk to you about something," he turned around, heading to his bathroom. "You're free to join me." he turned back around, winking at me.
I threw a pillow at him and he ducked, laughing, "It's raining Jasper." I pointed out, trying to ignore his perverted words.
"The rain doesn't stop us," he closed the door behind him.
I reluctantly stood up from the bed and went to my room. The house was silent and I wondered where everyone was. I don't know if Devin spent the night here, but I know Maddy and Quinn did.
I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower. I washed my hair first, before my body and when I was done I stepped out. I walked straight into my closet and went through my clothes, looking for something to wear. It was cold outside so I chose something weather friendly.
I chose a pair of dark blue jeans and a brown shirt and pulled Jasper's hoodie over my head, basking in his scent. I've washed the hoodie a few times but his scent still clings to it. I made a mental note to take another of his hoodies.
I slipped on a pair of brown boots and stepped out of the closet. I checked my phone for any messages and when I saw I had none I stood up from the bed. Jasper is standing by my doorway so I walked over to him, intertwining our fingers and pulling him downstairs.
"So what is it that you want to talk about?" I was getting impatient.
"You're about to find out JJ, chill," he chuckled and I rolled my eyes at him.
"I'm hungry," I announced when we got to a red light.
"I know, don't worry I've got that covered," he told me, lacing his fingers with mine that was laying on my laps.
I noticed a familiar building and I turned to look properly at my surroundings. This area brought back memories, memories that I've pushed down for seven years.
Why was Jasper bringing me here? Does he know I grew up in this neighborhood?
As if sensing my uneasiness, Jasper tightened his grip on my hand, slightly squeezing them for reassurance.
