The Plan

Third POV

Natsu, Gray, Happy, the Thunder God Tribe, Laxus, Levy, Gajeel, and Panther Lily were all frowning as they heard Erza and Bickslow explain what had happened at the Mayor's house.

"This gets more and more complicated by the minute." Gray said in frustration.

The group nodded.

"The good news about this is that we can gain information through Bickslow's magic. He was able to successfully infiltrate the house through one of his dolls." Erza said

Bickslow smiled.

"Typical of Lu-chan. She knew what magic was needed, and since she has friends that use that magic she was able to get them to collaborate." Levy said.

The group nodded and suddenly a golden glow appeared before them.

"What the-?! Loke!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Yeah it's me. Anyways, don't worry Lucy hasn't been hurt, but I need to tell you what Lucy figured out." Loke said.

The group nodded a serious expression on their face.

"These monsters are demons. They are summoned using runes and the person that created them is most likely in the Mayor's house. The reason they are controlling the demons is unknown, but if the individual is defeated the runes will be erased and the attacks will stop." Loke said.

The group stayed silent until Levy clicked her fingers in realization.

"Ankhseram is the god of life and death and Demeter is the goddess of harvest, fertility, and grains. It's not the kids of this village they're sacrificing it's the demons. That is because some demons have special blood that can purify and nurture land, especially the children of the demons. Thus explaining why this person wants the land bathed in the blood!" Levy explained.

The group widened their eyes.

"But that doesn't make sense why would they take Luce?" Natsu said still frowning.

"That is easy to explain child." A voice said behind them.

The group whipped around to see a demon the size of their Master.

"Where's Luce?! And why did you take her?!" Natsu growled lighting his fists in fire.

Elder Selik sighed.

"Your friend Lucy seemed to be the leader so we believed that with her gone you would retreat, but it seems we were wrong. Lucy is a smart, stubborn, kind, and gentle person, and it seems you brought back up to get her back, meaning that she must be very special for you guys." Elder Selik said.

"You got that right! Lucy is our family and if you think you can kidnapper her like that you have another thing coming!" Levy exclaimed surprising everyone.

Elder Selik sighed and muttered a couple words before a larger demon appeared, he seemed to be holding something in his large hand. Edward turned to look at the elder, who nodded at him. Edward sighed before he let Lucy down, who was curled up into a small ball to keep some heat. Once the group saw who was let go they were quick to dash towards her to see if she was fine.

"Lucy!" The group exclaimed

Lucy uncurled and smiled at the group, yet she quickly realized what would happen if she didn't move. Unfortunately before Lucy was able to do something the group crashed into her

"Oofff!" Lucy huffed as she was tackled by the group.

Edward and Elder Selik smiled a bit.

"Are you okay?!" Levy asked her best friend looking at her friend up and down searching for injuries.
