TMNT2012
Idk decided to call it a one-shot instead of short story bc it sounded better.
And for the record, I never had any of these with a friend of anything. Why? Cuz If I study without a teacher or a tutor, I just take out a textbook and just take notes really. Or just try my best to read the textbook without getting distracted.(This is hard, especially for a so-called hyperactive person like me.)
Oh yeah, and I haven't learnt up to the Periodic Table yet. I know some stuff about it though.

In his room, Donnie took some study materials about science from some bookcases and whiteboards and put it in a purple rucksack. He then put some snacks in case he got hungry. The sole reason why he was readying study materials is because he was going to have a study session with April, the girl of his dreams. He was already slightly giddy by even thinking about it.
Then he slung the bag onto his shoulders, said goodbye to Master Splinter and his brothers and went off to a manhole cover that was in a shady back alley, where he wouldn't get spotted by anyone in the day. This was the very same back alley that he had first seen on his 15th birthday, and also the same day he met April, who was about to get kidnapped by the aliens called the Kraang.
Then he jumped onto one of the nearby fire escapes and frantically started to climb to the top of the building. It was risky all right, to climb out as a giant mutant turtle out of the sewer, but Donnie obviously prepared for that. He wore a giant, dark purple hoodie, some tan-coloured pants and a pair of purple sneakers that he fashioned himself.
Reaching the top of the building, he ran into the direction of April's apartment. It was actually her aunt's but he'd rather call it April's apartment instead. Plus, he was used to calling it that. When reaching the rooftop of her apartment, he whipped out his T-phone and called April to announce that he was here and to ask her to open her bedroom window. After she said she did, he ended the call and swiftly jumped in into the window which led into April's room.
April's room could be described as a typical teenage girl's room, with a bed, a dream-catcher, a desk, a wardrobe and some pictures of herself and the turtles. He honestly hadn't really been into April's room, with the exceptions of stumbling accidentally inside it or use it as a passageway to go into the living room. He then noticed a new picture on the walls; a smiling picture of him with the frame adorned with crimson red hearts.
"Maybe she really likes me." Donnie thought out of curiosity.
This time, like others, he would go into the living room instead of her room to have a study session. He walked into the living room and saw April take out her notes, a cup of coffee for him and a cup of green tea for herself to drink. Donnie then sat at the table and took out the study materials that he had prepared and put them neatly on the coffee table.
"So, April, where do we start?" Donnie asked.
"Hm... Maybe this one!" April then pointed the chapter about the Periodic Table. "I have a Chemistry test on it next week."
"Great, let's get started."
Then he started to help her remember the periodic table by using a song that he made up to help him remember it when he was 10. But he didn't really need to, since April recited the most of it, with the exception of the Noble Gases. After that, he recited the the atomic symbol of each element and the atomic masses of each element, just in case.
Then, they had a little break, and at that time, Donnie went to the bathroom that was upstairs, next April's room.
The floor in the bathroom was wet and slippery and he watched his step, but the floor sadly got the best of him and he slipped. It was a classic slip. He slipped on the floor with the same grace of a classic cartoon character slipping on a banana peel.
"WOAHHH!!!" Donnie femininely screamed.
Then he hit his head on the toilet bowl, recieving a bruise on his forehead, and with a "thunk!", he was knocked unconcious.
April, hearing the scream, quickly ran into the direction the feminine-sounding scream. She went upstairs and peeked into the rooms there. Then she finally found the mutant who screamed. It was Donnie!
With her arms, which were strong, honed by years of ninja training; she hauled the svelte and purple-clad mutant turtle to the sofa in her living room. This sparked a memory of her tending Donnie's arm, around the year 2013, with the Kraang invasion at full blast outside the house.
Then, April draped a fluffy, warm blanket over Donnie, found the first aid kit and took out an ice pack to put on his forehead, so that he could heal faster.
After awhile, Donnie woke up. Eyes droopy, he sleepily yawned a "Hey, April... How long was I out?"
"Hm... Around 30 minutes." April responded while sipping her cup of green tea.
Donnie then tried to stand up, but the blanket that April wrapped around him seemed to restrain him from doing so, and he failed.
April seeing this, only smiled said "Rest Donnie, you just suffered a hard blow from the toilet bowl or something."
Donnie then let out a small chuckle and soon fell to sleep.
"Oh, Donnie. You poor thing..." April whispered, and then kissed him on the forehead, somewhere close to his bruise.
Donnie, in his subconscious smiled warmly.

The End.
