It had been a week since gabby's accident

She was still in the hospital.

She was in pretty good spirits all things considered.

The doctor has told the family that gabby had a 50% chance of ever walking again.

Gabby had been devastated at first.

But eventually her focus switched to walking again

Amy had left gabby's side since the accident.

This was much appreciated by gabby.

Up until she arrived at heartland gabby had never felt loved or appreciated

In fact she had always been she was worthless and no one cared about her.

Having the unconditional love of everyone at heartland was truly all that she could ever ask for.

The nurse came in to give gabby some pain medication.

On top of her broken back gabby also had a ruptured  spleen and had just had sargery repair it .

What's that gabby asked seeing the iv bag .

Just some pain medication the nurse said.

I'm sorry I can't take that gabby said.

I highly recommend you do the nurse said.

Gabby what's wrong Amy asked.

Both of my biological parents are drug addicts it's in my blood gabby said.
