Immortal
Fae: Value security and safety, wanting nothing more than to settle somewhere safe and live a pleasant, peaceful life with friends and family. Generally described as eternal looking humans in appearance with pointed ears and having magical powers. The Fae are a race of true immortal beings that can potentially live forever. They do not age as other living beings, instead their physical age is dependent on their mental maturity and social status. Despite being immortal, the Fae can still be killed through external forces and possess the same weaknesses as ordinary humans.
The Fae are split into four courts, the Summer, Spring, Autumn, and Winter Courts. Each court have all the different types of fae, while the Spring and Summer Courts have mainly Forest, Water, Earth, and Wind fae. The Autumn and Winter Courts have mainly Fire, Earth, Wind and Dark fae.
High fae – has wings, and are considered nobles or of the higher class, usually leaders. They help guide and protect the fae under them.
Forest fae – gains power from the forest, can help plants grow, excellent with a bow.
Water fae – gains power from water, excellent healers.
Fire fae – gains power from fire, excellent defenders.
Earth fae – gains power from the earth, excellent warriors.
Wind fae – gains power from the wind, excellent trackers.
Dark fae – gains power from darkness and shadows, excellent spies.
Origin - The Fae are a race of supernatural beings that precede humanity. They have a strong presence in myths and folklore, where they are often viewed as beings of light and goodness, though sometimes as tricksters. However, the Fae in general have little interest in human affairs. Due to their beauty and brightness, they have been mistaken for Angels on several occasions.
Society - The Fae are a secluded race that live in dimensions separated from humanity. However, individual Fae will sometimes seek out humans out of curiosity and a rare few decide to leave their dimension for human society. The Fae prefer to communicate with their minds instead of the spoken word.
Culture - The Fae live in secluded communities and are ruled over by a powerful royal family. Each separate community is led by either a member of the royal family or another chosen by the family. The Fae all have great respect and love for their royalty and they are believed to be the most beautiful among the Fae.
Physical Traits - The Fae are a race of immortal beings that possess incredible physical beauty. The Fae do not age similar to other living beings. As true immortals, they can potentially live forever and will not die of old age. Instead, the physical age of the Fae is dependent of their mental maturity and social status. In the Fae community, the appearance of old age is a symbol of status and power and a source for respect. Additionally, Fae seemingly age when they become parents as a sign of their new responsibility.
Powers and Abilities:
Physical Abilities
Allure: The ability to possess extraordinary beauty and be highly desirable and enticing to others.
Immortality: The state of possessing an infinite lifespan and an arrested aging process. This also grants immunity to all human diseases and viruses.
Mental Abilities
Telepathy: The ability to mentally perceive information from the minds of others and transmit thoughts from one mind to another.
Magical Abilities
Photokinesis: The ability to create and manipulate light to various effects.
Portal Creation: The ability to open interdimensional portals to travel between dimensions.
Levitation: The ability to defy gravity and levitate in the air.
Weaknesses:
Physical Weaknesses
Mortality: Although the Fae are immortal and could potentially live forever, they can be killed through external forces. The Fae possess the same physical weaknesses as ordinary humans, meaning they can be killed through sustained injuries or blunt trauma.
Decapitation: Fae can be killed through decapitation.
Heart Extraction: Fae can be killed by ripping their hearts from their bodies.
