James answered the phone after letting it ring for a minute.

"Thank you for calling the River Way Police Department, this is officer James Birge, how may I assist you today?" he asked.

"Hey James, it's Zane Maddox, I have new evidence in the case of Edwardo Mitchell."

"What do you mean you have new evidence? I thought we had all the evidence we needed?" asked James.

"Anyway I can see you tonight?" I asked.

"Sure, can you be at El' Choppa at seven tonight?" asked James.

"Yes sir! I will see you then." I replied after I picked up my paper and left the building.

I got in my car and started it back up. I had been in interviews all day for something I never expected, and I was ready to relax for a couple hours. I drove home and was met at the front door by my mom, and she was so relieved to see me.

"Hey Zane, I have a few things I need you to do tonight. I need you to change the cat box, clean the garage, and prepare the guest bedroom since your grandparents are coming over next week." demanded my mom.

"Yeah, I hate to break it to you, but I am not going to be doing any of that tonight." I replied very nervously.

"And why the hell not?" she asked.

"Guess you will read about it in the paper. I have to go meet a very important figure in a couple hours and I would like to relax." I replied as I ran up the stairs back into my room.

I hear her cuss me under my breath and then she started to clean out the guest bedroom.
