Vincent took a seat across from me. I could tell he has had a long day, so I planned to make this interview as short as possible so he could go take a nap or something.

"Hey Zane, it's nice to see a friendly face during all of this madness." said Vincent.

"Hello Vincent. I will be conducting your interview. I will not take it easy on you, and you must answer all of my questions." I replied," So, let us begin. Where were you this morning about eight o'clock?"

"Well, I was out to breakfast with my soon to be wife. We went to Anderson's Diner." Vincent replied," I had scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy."

"Who is your soon to be wife?" I asked.

"Well, her name is Tori Ralt." he replied.

"What did you use to pay for the food?" James asked.

"I used cash." replied Vincent.

"That means we can't put a timestamp to when they checked out." James said as he looked at me.

"Okay, so tell us a little more about your breakfast." I replied.

"Well, Tori was late to our date. She was throwing up." replied Vincent.

I got up out of my chair, and I walked over to the pizza station, where I started to make a pizza. After I put the toppings on the pizza, and slid it in the oven, I walked back over to my table. I threw my hands on the table.

"Okay, so, let me get this straight. If we pull the camera feed from the restaurant, we will see you sitting where?" I asked.

"You will see me sitting by the big "A" on the wall." he replied confidently," I never left the table either. I sat there the whole time."

"Okay," I replied and then I looked over at James," Where is your officer with the lie detector test?"

"I am not sure. I will radio the station to see why he never made it." replied James as he turned into the dark hallway.

Moments later, James came back into the room.

"Officer George was robbed this morning on the way here. He apparently stopped for donuts and got locked inside the shop." explained James," Two unknown figures broke into the cruiser and stole the lie detector machine."

"Oof. Can we get another?" I asked.

"Sadly, no. They are using the second one for a rape case." replied James," So we are going to have to do this the old fashioned way."

"Ugh, okay. Let's keep this going." I replied as I walked over to the pizza oven and pulled the pizza out.

"So, your story will check out right?" I asked.

"Yes, you can even call my soon to be wife and ask her." replied Vincent.

"Okay, so why was she throwing up?" I asked.

" Well, I might have gotten her pregnant." replied Vincent," Baby Carter will be here in 4 months. Do you really think I would murder someone when I am about to have my first kid? You guys are crazy!"

"You are good to go. I think we have all the information we need." said James from the doorway. He watched Vincent walk out and James followed him.

While James wasn't in the room, I pulled the pizza out of the oven, and I cut it into party squares, and threw it on the pan. Moments later James walked into the room.

"Okay, so I have a bad idea, but it could potentially be a good idea." explained James," I want to interview the last two people. We have Juan Mitchell and Chris Allen left."

"How are you proposing we do this?" I asked.

"You will interview both of them. I think you are ready for it." explained James, " You are more than ready to go solo, so with that said, I am going to step back. I am going to keep calling for another lie detector. I probably will not get one though. Anyways, I am going to go to the walk-in and set up a listening station, therefore, I will be listening to you while you interview. I will take care of interviewing someone too."

"That is a pretty scary thought. Who do you want me to interview?" I asked.

"Most definitely Juan Mitchell. " replied James," I think he would be the perfect first choice."

"Okay." I replied.

James turned around and walked back into the dining room. I watched as he motioned Juan into the room. Juan got up and walked into the kitchen, as James and Chris moved towards the walk-in.
