Chapter Six. Deep in the woods

Marlon looked at AJ with a surprised look before he spoke "She- She's in the basement!" he shouted "She killed Brody!" Those words shook you, Brody was the nicest girl in here she was so honest and pure, you snapped out of it after hearing someone walk towards the circle "You're so full of shit Marlon! You hit Brody so hard across the head you split her head open" You saw Clementine as you hid closer to Louis "Look she's covered in Brody's blood!" Marlon pointed out as you looked at Clementine "What the fuck" you mumbled as Clementine shook her head in disbelief "We protected these people, gave them food and kept them warm and what do we get in return? murder? Well fuck them" Marlon yelled as Marlon pushed AJ and grabbed his gun before pointing it at Clementine "Can't trade me to your raider friends if I'm dead" Clementine said as we looked in shock "Take that back" Marlon's voice cracked and you and Louis knew he was nervous "Tell them! Or should I" Clementine paused "Marlon was going to trade me and AJ for his own safety, he traded Sophie and Minerva!" Clementine yelled as Tenn looked at Marlon "You told me they died" he said as he aimed the gun to Clementine's head, You looked at everyone then ran infront of the gun "Drop it, Marlon" You said as Marlon rolled his eyes "How can you not see this is bullshit!" he shouted at you causing you to flinch until Louis stood next to you "Dude, Stop" He said as Marlon soon backed away as everyone circled him, he dropped the gun and cried "I done it to protect you" He shouted as Clementine stood at the front of the group "You're dangerous and you can't stay" Clem said "I understa-" Before Marlon could finish there was a hole in his head and blood pouring out, he fell as everyone just watched and saw AJ holding the gun.
"What? I aimed for the head".

You woke up the next day as last nights events flooded into your head, AJ murdered Marlon, You burst into tears realising you lost your best friend but he also traded Sophie and Minnie and you could never forgive him for that, Your room door opened as you quickly wiped your eyes you saw Violet looking at you with sympathy "It's time for the funeral" she said as you walk down with her. When you got to the grave you burst into tears as it hit you that two of your good friends were dead you notice Clementine and AJ behind you but you ignored them as the funeral started.
Tenn placed a drawing on Brodys grave as Louis put an arm over you "Brody, You always said you wanted to go to the beach, So I drew it for you" He said stepping back as you walk to Marlons grave.

"Marlon I... I'm going to miss you and I hope you are in a better place now but I can't forgive you for what you done to the twins" You said earning a scoff from Mitch "Selfish" He mumbled as Louis glared at him "God Marlon was an ass but he didn't deserve a bullet in the head!" Mitch shouted pointing at AJ "We should have a vote and if you are voted out you have to leave" Mitch said as Clementine agreed.
You stormed to you room afterwards thinking how Marlon and Brody's death got slipped by so quickly, you heard a knock at the door as you answer it and see Louis staring down at you "Give me a hug shorty" he mumbles as you crash into his arms, it felt like the only stable place on earth.

It was voting time and you had thought about it a lot and weighed out the pros and cons although when it was your turn to vote it was 5 against 3 but you still had to.

"I vote they stay"

Louis and Violet were going to take Clem and AJ past the safe zone, you were invited but you decided to stay in your room and draw. Louis and Violet were supposed to be back a while ago and curriosity took over you so you decided to go out and look for them until you heard a gunshot you saw Violet running towards you and you panicked when you didn't see Louis. You ran into the woods and saw Louis hiding behind a tree as he clutched onto his arm "Louis! Oh my god" You said running towards him as he let out a stiff chuckle "Can't you go 1 hour without seeing me?" you rolled your eyes and walked back to the school with him.
