Chapter Twenty Two. Return of Richmond

"What are you drawing?" You heard Louis walk up to you with Marlon next to him "A tree, a big one" You replied as the two boys sat with you "Apparantly Jamie has a crush on you" you said looking up at Louis as he shook his head "I'm more for Sophie" He said as you chuckled "Damn Lou is the school player" Marlon joked as Louis blushed.

Sophie walked up to sit with Louis as you and Marlon shared a known look before snickering.
"Lou wanna go a walk before class?" Sophie asked as Louis just nodded and took her hand.

You looked at Marlon as he rolled his eyes before laughing "You like Louis?" Marlon asked as you shook your head "No way!!" You said as Marlon snorted "It's so obvious, don't worry it's our secret" Marlon held out his pinky as you linked yours with his before looking over to Sophie and Louis.

"Y/n!" You snap out of your trance to see Sophie holding your shoulders you duck down into bushes and see what is going on in the farm.

"You have some nerve running to the same old place" You heard someone shout as you saw Louis run to the front of the crowded group "What do you want? Supplies?" He yelled as someone ran up and grabbed him "We want the child" The man yelled as Louis yelped "Someone do something!" Louis screamed basicly in pain as you looked at the group of the girls.

Sophie handed you a gun and gave you a nod as you stood up and aimed the gun at the small group of people but most importantly aiming it at the man who had Louis.

"Drop him" You said sternly as the man laughed "And what are you going to do" he said as Clementine stood up holding a gun as the man shook his head "Unbelievable" he went to shoot Louis but you shot his leg making him drop Louis.

You and the girls ran to everyone who stayed behind as you all aimed your weapons at the small group.

"Who are you and where are you from?" You asked "We're from Richmond and thanks to you our town is destroyed" The man said as you scoffed Hope then walked up to them with her gun aimed at them.

"Y- You killed my boyfriend... You monsters" She said as the man stood up straighter "If you shoot us more will just come back and kill you too" the man said as tears fell down Hope's face "Fuck. You" She said before shooting the guy who spoke causing everyone to run for defense apart from Hope she stood but then she got shot in the head.

"Hope!" you screamed but Louis held you "Come on" he said taking your hand and leading you to the barn quickly along with everyone else.

Once you reached the barn Omar and Aasim blocked the door inside the barn from keeping the people from Richmond getting in.

You sat on some hay as you looked at everyone making sure they were ok but when you looked for Hope and remembered what happened you threw up.
"Here shorty" Louis mumbled handing you a bucket as you held onto it tightly as you felt sick to your stomach.

You then look at Cal and Anne holding on to their child but something burst in you and you stormed up to them as everyone just stared at you.

"Thanks to you our home could be ruined!" You screamed as Cal stood up slowly and Anne hugged Layla "Y-Y/b you don't understand they will take-" You cut off Cal "What they'll take your little girl? Cal I don't think that you understand my family is here! this is my home where I will raise my baby" You said before feeling faint and then all you saw was black.

"Sophie what's wrong?" You asked as you walked up to a teary eyed Sophie as she looked up at you "It's just Minerva and I had a fight and well..." She cried as you hugged her "It's okay you guys will be okay" You said as she pulled away and calmed down.

You both sat for a while looking at the school and how small it had gotten due to the walkers.
You look at Sophie as she sighs "Lou broke up with me..." She said as you looked shocked "But you guys have been dating since before" You said as she nodded "Yeah but after our first year I knew Lou didn't like me anymore, I think he has liked someone else for a while" She whispered as you put an arm around her and hugged her before you saw Miss Martin come out "Come on girls, dinner" she shouted as you both walked to the elder.

You open your eyes slowly and feel a sharp pain in you stomach "W-What's happening?" you asked as you saw Ruby with a lot of bloody cloths, you felt tears come up in your eyes as you look at Louis running up to you holding you hand "Breathe Y/n" he whispered as you panicked and saw that everyone around you just looked sad like something happened.

You look up as Ruby stepped back and shook her head, you look up and then realise what happened which let you to sob.

"My baby... my baby" you whisper as you look over at Cal and Anne who stayed out of it "Get out" You said sternly as Anne stood up "I'm so sorry Y/n" She spoke as you looked up at her and frowned "I'm sorry Anne but it's best if you leave" Louis said as she nodded and finally left.

After a few hours of dealing with what happened to the baby you looked at Violet and Clementine "What happened wih the people that came here? from Richmond..." You asked "Vi and I delt with it" Clementine said as Violet sighed "They'll be back and we all know it" She said as Clementine nodded "Maybe in a few days we should think about leaving this place behind" You spoke as the two girls nodded "We should pack up tomorrow and leave the next day" Violet said "We have an RV" Clementine said as you sat up "It won't fit nine people" you said as Clem chuckled "Have you seen size of that thing it's our best shot" she said as you just nodded not wanting to get into an argument.
