Chapter One. Two Best Friends

You sat in class next to Louis as you doodled in your jotter ignoring everything the teacher was saying you look up and see Louis staring at what you were drawing "That's a great drawing (y/n), You should draw me next time" He says smiling at you with his brightest smile you shake your head and smile before looking down at your jotter and drawing a cartoon version of Louis quickly "Daaamnnnn I'm handsome" Louis said as you chuckle slightly gaining the teachers attention "Something funny (y/n)?" he asked as Louis looked at you hiding a smile "No sir" You replied when the teacher looked away you wacked Louis' arm making him wince "heart broken" he mumbled as you roll your eyes before writing down the notes you missed.

"Wake up (y/n) you've been sleeping all  day!" You hear someone shout as you open your eyes "Good morning to you too Brody" You giggled as you sat up rubbing your eyes "C'mon! lets go fishing!!" she said taking your hands and running downstairs with you to the yard.
You see Louis and Marlon talk and as before you're about to slip out Louis runs up to you and hugs you "There's my best friend!" He looks at Marlon and smiles "After Marlon of course" He said earning a punch to the arm "Hey (y/n) I know you probably wanted to go fishing with Brody but could you please go hunting with Louis today... he's such a bad aim" Marlon whispered the last part as Louis showed a shocked face "Don't be jealous Lou" you said as he shook his head "Friendship o.v.e.r" he joked as you grabbed your knife and left with Louis.

Once you were at the traps you sat and waited for a rabbit or something edible to appear you looked at Louis and saw him focusing on the traps "Serious much" you snort as Louis makes a line out of his lips "Obviously (y/n).. I'm always serious" he said looking in your eyes before you both laugh you then see a deer get stuck in a trap "Booyah!" Louis said walking up to it as you follow behind "Everyone is going to be so happy" You said smiling ever so brightly "Let's hope we get lucky with a few rabbits now" Louis said as you nod quickly putting a knife through the deers head you squeeze your eyes shut and pout "I hate having to kill it" You say as Louis nods in agreement.
You finished hunting and got 1 deer and 4 rabbits which was amazing and there were no walkers on the way back to school today seemed just like the perfect day.

When you reached the school you give the animals to Omar and walked up to Violet "Hey Vi how was your day?" you asked as she smiled you knew you were one of the only people Violet could really trust here "It was okay, I mean fishing with Brody" Violet rolled her eyes as you sigh "Vi... she's trying her best" You said as Violet scoffed "So now it's my fault?" Violet questioned before walking away "Fuck you dude" Violet said as you watched her leave then looked away fighting back your tears. You sit at a bench alone and play with your nails as you see someone sit across from you "Gosh (y/n) you are so small... I thought you were a grain of rice" Louis said making you smile "Shut up Lou" You said as Louis chuckled "I'm going to play piano, care to join?" he asked as you looked up at him "Only if I can duet" You said already standing up "Of course! It wouldn't be a good song without you" Louis said as you frown "Or Minnie" You sigh as Louis puts an arm around you "Hey don't talk like that, I bet Minnie will be singing with us" He said giving you a tight squeeze before walking to the music room with you.

Louis sat at the piano as you stood near the strings, he started playing a familiar melody as you cough and open your mouth to sing.

"Que sera sera, Whatever will be, will be, The future's not ours to see, que sera sera"

Louis looks at you and smiles "My best friend is so talented" He said as you roll your eyes at him "Dork" you hear before Marlon walks in "Come on you two, it's time for dinner" He said as you run up to Louis and tap him on the shoulder "tag" you say before shrieking and running away hearing his footsteps chase behind you.
