(Request from VEE-LIEVE that I thought was funny 😂 enjoy)

Alexander had been growing out his beard for a little while, and Eliza had been loving it! Him? Not so much. One day, he had decided to shave it. It felt so nice, to get that itchy hair off of his face. He wasn't very excited about Eliza finding out about it, so he waited on the couch anxiously for her to return from a trip to the grocery store. The door opened suddenly, and Eliza walked through it, not noticing Alex at first.

"Hey hon." She smiled as she entered. Though he failed miserably, he tried to hide his face away from her. She put the bags down in the kitchen and walked out to the living room where Alex was. Stopping when she saw his face, and hand slowly travels to her mouth.

"Alex! What did you do?" She asked. She sounded a little upset, but Alex knew this wouldn't last very long, a few days at most.

"Don't you like it?" He laughed a stood up. She wouldn't even look him in the eye. Putting a hand up, Eliza turned away, half mocking disgust.

"Nope. I can't even look at you right now." She walked briskly back to the kitchen to put the groceries away.

"Come on, Eliza! Why don't you like it? What's the matter?" Alex laughed at the silliness of it all. She pretended like she didn't hear him and continued putting everything away. Hearing the soft padding of the two children running down the stairs, Alex looked up to them. Philip saw that his beard was gone, and gasped.

"Daddy! Your beard is gone!" He exclaimed, looking back to his sister, "Angie, look! Daddy beard disappeared!" The kids giggled, and Alex could see his wife smile from the corner of his eye.

"I like it!" Angie laughed. Alex walked over to his two kids and picked Angie up, her giggling on the way up.

"I'm glad you like it Angie." Alex smiled fondly at his daughter. Eliza just looked over and sighed, trying to hide a smile.

"Mommy, do you like it!" Philip ran over to his mother and tugged on the bottom of her apron. She smiled and bent down to look him in the eye.

"Well, I think that daddy should have kept it." She said with a laugh. Philip looked confused, but was satisfied and ran off with Angie to go play.

"At least the kids like it." Alex laughed, but Eliza still wouldn't look at him. He walked to where she was and leaned over the counter.

"Oh come on! You have to like it a little bit!" He was over exaggerating a little, and Eliza couldn't hold her laugh anymore. She turned to him and kissed him lightly.

"Fine. Maybe I like it. Just a little." She turned back to what she was doing in defeat.

"Yes!" Alex muttered in victory. Eliza barley heard him, but she laughed anyway. She looked up at him again, the clean shave that looked just like when they first met.

She could definitely get used to this after all.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I just finished this and decided to put it out, not the best I've done and I'm sorry for that, but at least it's something. Also, I'm working on part two for the Where did she go? 👻 one, but it's taking a little longer then expected, so don't expect that anytime soon. Hope you're having a good day, see you later 😂 bye
