💫 'Rose quartz' 💫

Connie was now back into her messed up closet, looking for something 'decent' to wear.
Still rummaging in her closet, Connie found nothing but uncomfortable outfits.
"No way am I gonna wear a dress-"
The girl mumbled to herself as she tossed a black dress behind her, adding on to her pile of clothes.

"I'm not wearing this either-! ARG!"
Connie YEETED the orange long sleeve shirt behind her in frustration.
Why can't she find anything decent for once?!
But then, she found it.

A short sleeve baby blue shirt, with white flowers growing from the bottom left corner.
Connie snatched it, and then rummaged through her pile of clothes on the ground, finding Jean shorts that looked surprising well considering her lack of taste.

Throwing them on quickly, the girl dashed down the stairs, almost falling as she did.
"IM READY!" Connie screeched, her voice overflowing with excitement.
Pearl mumbled a few words saying she'll be there in a second, making Connie anxious as she began to think more and more about this event.

*what familiar will I get?*
*will they be nice?*
*what if they don't like me-*

"Okay Connie, come along now, we have to travel quite far to get to the gateway, either that, or we're taking the amethyst..." Pearl fake laughed, gesturing the girl to follow, in which she excitedly did.

Two hours have past as they still trekked over leaves and bushes. The woods is not a good choice to take a casual walk in, the brush and thorns digging into your legs every step isn't very nice, no, not at all.
Connie winced as she kept on getting hung on the large furious thorns, to her it seemed almost as if they were grabbing the girl on purpose, dragging her into the bush full of pain.
The girl ripped herself from the bushes grasp as she heard pearl saying they made it.

Finally.
They were at the clearing where the dimension from the gem world and the human world meet.
The sight of the huge doors fascinated the girl.
Each little carving, and detail told a unknown story to the girl as she brushed her hand over it lightly.

Pearl smiled as she saw how excited the girl was, she came so far. It seemed almost yesterday she couldn't even cast a spell and now she was getting her own spiritual partner.
The white gem sighed and walked towards the astonished girl.
"Okay Connie, enough gazing, it's time to find your familiar, I'm going to explain the rules and what you do, so you won't be completely lost when your there."

Connie was silently squealing, her excitement almost bursting into a full yell.
"Alright" pearl clapped her hands, rubbing them as she began to explain-

"When your in the realm of the stones, you'll be on level one, or two, which is mostly consisting of rubies, aquamarines, amethysts, and rose quartz.
I would be rather surprised if you were sent to any other place than the coral forest, which is the levels one and two I just mentioned.
But when you find a creature that seems rather interested in you, you'll know it's your familiar. Remember, you don't chose your familiar, your familiar chooses you, or things would rather be, difficult."

Pearl explained a few more things to Connie, and then gave the magic spell to unlock the huge behemoth gates.

Then the locks that were once on the huge doors unlocked, and Pearl walked up to the massive doors, pulling one open, making the girl gasp in astonishment.

The door revealed a high contrast between pink, blue, white, and yellow, swirling as the colors complemented yet disgraced eachother.
Connie was still frozen, her eyes locked on the place where she dreamed of going to.
"What are you waiting for? Come on before I let go of this door-" pearl exclaimed, making Connie snap back into reality,
"Oh- sorry!" Was the last words Connie yelled as she dashed into the swirling colors.
