I can't focus on the session at all. My mind has been wandering everywhere and I've been trying to figure out a way to get my phone back. My parents are really strict and they check up on me everyday. Imagine if they call me and I don't pick up... I swear I'm dead. I may be living in the dorms but I can still get into trouble despite my parents not living with me.
"Hyunjin," Heejin snapped her fingers in front of my face. "You okay? You've been spacing out a lot."
"Ah, it's nothing." I said, looking away. "Anyway, I've noticed that you have been sleeping in class a lot lately. Do you not get enough sleep at home?"
"I do." She scratched her head. "But it's just that school is so boring that I actually fell asleep in class."
"Then I suggest you do something to keep yourself awake. Like maybe drink more water? Or go the bathroom to wash your face?"
"No thanks, I'll stick to sleeping."
I fumed. "Can you please just take my advice and do as I say? Your student evaluation will be badly written if you keep this up and my student evaluation will be affected because of your behavior."
Heejin looked at me and rolled her eyes before saying, "Damn woman, chill out. I'll be on my beeeeeeest behavior, alright?"
"You better be."

It was eerily silent in the school, perhaps because it is already after 9pm, which meant that every single one of the school staff already packed up and went home. It was so dark that the only light source came from the illumination of the moonlight. Hyunjin wanted to turn the lights on, but was afraid that someone from the outside might be suspicious of a lit room after school was closed for the day. The deafening silence made her ears pound, the only sound she heard was the repetitive beating of her heart. Hyunjin used the keys that she got from the main office to open the door to the staff room.
"Park Sangmyun... Park Sangmyun..." She muttered as she scanned the teachers' name plates on their respective cubicles.
When she found Mr Park's cubicle, she heard a noise. Some sort of crunching noises that shoes make when they have little bits of rocks underneath it. In reaction, she crouched underneath Mr Park's table. Luckily for her, his cubicle is near the windows so she has plenty of space to hide. Hyunjin took a peek to see who could be here at this hour, she saw a hooded figure rummaging through the belongings of Miss Jung, who is a teacher in the disciplinary committee.
Hyunjin slowly stood up, so as to not alarm the other party and with all the courage she could muster, she said, "W-who are you?" She immediately wanted to kick herself for stuttering and showing her fear like that.
The figure looked at Hyunjin and took a step back, presumably because he was shocked. With the help of the moonlight, Hyunjin could make out his figure. She couldn't see anything else besides the figure's mouth, since the hood was covering the rest of his face.
Without warning, the figure dashed at Hyunjin as she crouched down in fear. However, to her surprise, the figure was not going for her, but he was going in her direction. He swung an elbow towards the glass windows, which shattered easily. The figure hopped out of the window, but not before looking back at her.
Just then, the door to the staff room slammed open. Some male teachers that Hyunjin doesn't recognise and Miss Jung were standing at the door, looking dumbfoundedly at Hyunjin. They had a few police officers standing behind them as well.
"Oh no."

Heejin was trying to keep herself awake before class starts when the Class Hooter, Yuna, came in announcing to the class that the head prefect got into serious trouble. The Class Hooter is someone that announces important pieces of news to the whole class. Something like a news reporter, but it's in school.
Heejin shot up from her seat. "What? Hyunjin is in trouble?" She got her blazer hanging on her chair and went up to Yuna, asking where Hyunjin is.
"She's in the principal's office. I saw her on my way to class." She winked.
Heejin tried to get her thoughts right. Hyunjin in trouble? Not a chance. Hyunjin is a good egg, she never gets into trouble.
When she got to the principal's office, there was already a crowd standing outside the window, vying to have a peek at the head prefect getting in trouble. Heejin shoved her way through and was bewildered to actually see Hyunjin sitting on a chair opposite the principal, with her head down, getting chewed out by the principal.
"Heejin!" She heard someone call out to her. "Is it true that Hyunjin got into trouble?"
She looked over her shoulder. It was Jieun.
"Unfortunately, yeah."
Jieun had a sad expression plastered across her face. "Hyunjin is a good girl, why would she get into trouble? Do you know what she did?" She looked knowingly at Heejin.
"Nope. Class Hooter told the class about it so I came to see if it's true."
"...What's a Class Hooter?"
"Oh! Uh, it's like someone will be telling the whole class important news. Basically like a news reporter."
"It seems like your class is pretty close." She smiled. "Must be nice."
"It is." Heejin breathed.
Both stood there, not saying a word. They were also concentrated on when Hyunjin will come out of the office.
For what seems like forever, Hyunjin could be seen standing up and bowing to the principal before taking her leave.
"Hey! She's out!" Someone shouted, which gathered the attention of many. Everyone rushed to the window to see what's happening. As Hyunjin walked out, she kept her head down, ashamed that people knew of what the head prefect did.
Heejin went to her side and grabbed her arm. "Hyunjin, what's happening? Why were you getting chewed out?"
Hyunjin wrestled out of Heejin's grip. "Nothing for you to know, Heejin." She walked forward quickly, leaving Heejin behind. Heejin looked in the direction she went to and heaved a sigh.
When Heejin went back to class, everyone was staring at her like puppies.
"What?" She shot them a weird look.
"So?" Taeyong began. "What did you find out?"
"Nothing."
"That's lame." Jiwon hollered from her seat.
Just then, Yuna came running into class. She stood at the front of the class and reported, "Guys, I know why Hyunjin was being scolded."
In a swift movement, Heejin got to the front and clasp a hand over Yuna's mouth. "Don't tell anyone. It will humiliate Hyunjin. Just keep it to yourself alright?" She sneered.
Yuna nodded timidly.
