𝐇𝐞𝐞𝐣𝐢𝐧

I was hanging around the lockers, trying to open it and at the same time, hoping to see Jieun because the lockers are near her class and guess what? I actually saw her, and the best part was when she came up to me and started talking to me? She said," Hello Heejin-ssi!" And I swear my heart was racing so goddamn fast I thought it might pop out of my chest.  And I can't believe I looked like a bumbling fool in front of her, like how uncool is that? Not being able to open a locker? I nearly wanted to scream at myself but I kept my cool, I needed to keep my cool girl image in front of Jieun.

She saw me trying to open that damned lock and she helped me! She looks so stunning opening the lock, her delicate hands spinning the lock carefully, and with her serious face on completes the look.

"Do you... need a reminder on how to open it...?" She asked in such a cute way like hOw can I resist? I don't know if she knows this, but literally almost everyone in the halls were staring at us. I mean, if you were there, you'd probably stare too. Trust me, someone like me is wayyyyy out of her league. She is the school's goddess, perfect grades, perfect family, perfect face. And me on the other hand, I suck at pretty much everything except for sports. I can even shoot a 3-pointer! Anyways, I don't have a mom, but I have a dad who visits me every now and then. He's too busy with his girlfriend. I'm not that pretty either. People say I have nice skin, however I just think that is the only part of my face that is relatively decent?

I know I look good in certain aspects, but my face is average compared to Jieun's god-like facial features. I think I only started caring for my looks towards the end of Year 2. I as so determined to be together with Jieun that for once in my life, I actually put in effort for something! When school reopened the following year, everyone in my class was like," Woah Heejin you look so good!" and stuff like that. And yeah, that slowly built up my confidence and it made the Heejin that everyone knows and loves.

People usually say that the world doesn't revolve around anyone, but the world does revolve around Jieun. Everyone worships the ground she walks on, like as if she's a living deity. I like her a lot, ever since I saw her during orientation I made it a personal goal to be her friend, then maybe date her. However, my plan on getting close to her didn't even work until now because of her nosy bestfriend Bae Suzy. I have never seen anyone so annoying and nosy before. Like that one time when I slid into Jieun's DMs to try and talk to her, somehow Suzy knew about it and everytime I walk past her and Jieun, Suzy would be shooting me dirty looks as if I killed her dog or something.

Anyways, after the movie, I walked Jieun back to the dorms and on our way there, I saw that party pooper Kim Hyunjin taking out the trash. 

"Does she live around here?" I asked Jieun.

She laughed. "Yeah, we have been dorm neighbors since like, forever."

"Damn, that must've been a pain in the ass." I chuckled.

"No not really, she's pretty nice." She smiled at me.

Soon, we reached her dorm and had to part ways. "Thanks for today... I had fun." Jieun said softly before taking the blazer off and handing it to me. "I'll pay for the lost sweater."

Ah, the sweater. When I came out of the toilet and she told me that she lost my sweater, I wanted to scream. Bad. That sweater was a Tommy Hilfiger sweater and I brought that one sweater on purpose to show her that I'm someone who has y'know, money. BUT SHE MISPLACED IT. It's fine, it's fine. She already looked guilty for losing it and I don't want her to feel bad so might as well let it go.

"I already said, it's cool. I have plenty of sweaters at home anyway." I  bowed and walked to the lift lobby when I heard her call my name.

"Heejin ya, can I get a hug please?" She said in a kid-like voice which I definitely could not refuse.

"Sure princess." I went over and gave her a hug. 

One thing I can say from this, she smells good.

"What's UP ugly asses!" Hyejoo bust the door open and walked into class, literally grinning from ear to ear.

"It's unusual seeing you so smiley." Yeojin said. 

"What's wrong with being happy?" She grinned wider.

"As I've said, it's weird." 

"No no, you just look a lot uglier when you smile." Jungeun said, pressing her lips together. "Mind telling us what's going on?"

"So," Hyejoo began and paused dramatically. "A girl asked me for my number." She smirked and looked at her friends triumphantly.

Yeojin, Jinsoul, Jungeun and Sooyoung immediately crowded around Hyejoo, wanting to know more about this "girl" and bombarding her with an avalanche of questions. I was not interested, of course. People, both girls and guys, ask for my number occasionally, and Hyejoo being this excited about it makes me disinterested even more.

"Heejin ya, don't you wanna hear about this?" Sooyoung shouted across to me.

"No thanks, I can actually hear what y'all are saying from here." I waved her off. I just want to get a little sleep before class starts and this loud ass bitch comes in and disrupts my peace. I folded my arms on the table and rested my head in them.

I can hear Hyejoo describing the girl. She sounds excited.

"She's short and blonde and she's super cute!"

"Waww introduce her to us sometime soon!" I could hear Jinsoul say. I can actually imagine her looking like a puppy, wagging its tail at its owner.

"Hell no. I'll intro her to everyone here except you. You're a major flirt and I don't want you flirting with her."

"Mmm..." Jinsoul whined. "I won't flirt, I promise."

"Okok please stop, you look disgusting when you pout."
