Chapter 12 - A New Boyfriend

(Katrina's POV)

So, the album has been out for about five months, and it's been doing great! The Label wants to put out an extended edition, so I've been working on some new songs for it.

And also, I've been seeing this guy Daniel. He's a really great guy. We're not officially an item yet, but I'm hoping we will be soon. We've had a few dates. None of them were official dates, but we've hung out a lot. He's got a motorcycle, which I find really hot, and always wears his leather jacket. He's got dark brown hair, almost black, but not quite, and gorgeous green eyes. They always remind me of Harry's whenever I see them.

Me and Abi are still living together, but we upgraded our apartment. We found this really nice one that cost a lot more, but hey, I can afford it now, and the boys are renting one right by us too. They're taking a break from recording their new album Take Me Home, and their Up All Night tour is done, so they're just on relax time. Me an Niall have gotten pretty close too. Best friend wise anyways. I've kind of let the dream of us ever being something more slip away. I just can't see how it would work. I mean, whenever I see him, my heart still skips a beat, but I do think I'm starting to develop some feelings for Daniel.

I hear my phone buzz, and see that Danny sent me a text.

Hey blondie. Wanna hang today. Thought we'd just go for a ride, or go to the movies or something?

Sound great leather! Pick me up in 15?

See ya then.

Later.

I quickly put on a pair of my blue skinny jeans, and a blue V-neck shirt that had a black heart on it. Then I put on my black boots and tucked my jeans in them. I'd already done my make-up earlier, so i was ready to go.

"Hey Abi, I'm going out with Danny. Be back later!"

"Okay kid! Have fun, but not to much fun! Love ya!"

"Love ya right back red!"

Right on time, Danny pulled up outside of our apartment building. Luckily, once again, Liam didn't see us leave. He would not like the though of me on a motorcycle. Did I mention he still hasn't found out about the tattoo on my foot. Now that I'm still shocked at.

"Hey babe! Ready to go?"

"Totally! Where we going?"

"Movies okay with you?"

"Sure is!"

"Then hop on and let's get this show on the road."

I wrapped my arms around his waist to where my hands were just above his belt buckle. I had my own helmet - that he so nicely bought just for me - that I wear whenever we ride.

The ride was silent, but not an awkward silence. I was calming. With the wind blowing in my hair, and Danny's sweet sent of shampoo and leather... I don't know why, but I loved that smell of his shampoo mixed with the smell of his leather jacket.

We arrived at the movie theater. Neither of us were sure which movie to watch. I personally wanted a romance one, that way maybe, he'd get the hint that I like him and want to be his girlfriend.

"How about The Lucky One?" I suggested.

"If that's what you wanna watch, its fine by me."

"Yay!"

I offered to pay, but of course, as usual, he wouldn' let me. He also bough a large popcorn and a large coke with two straws. I kind of feel like we're a couple already.

-----During the Movie-----

He moved his arm from my shoulder to my waist and pulls me closer to him. Then he looks deep into my eyes and whispers,

"Katrina Payne. Will you be my girlfriend?"

without a doubt in my mind. "Yes. I'd love that."

(Niall's POV)

Liam, Zayn, and Louis were off spending some time with their girlfriends while we were on break, and Harry was off doing who knows what. So, I was all alone, and bored out of my mind. So, as usual, when I'm bored, I find something to eat. There was nothing in my kitchen, so I thought I'd go out and get a pizza or something.

I walked out of the apartment building, and saw something pretty surprising. Katrina getting off a motorcycle with some guy. She didn't say anything about her seeing anyone. Surely she would have told us, or... Me at least.

"I'll see you later babe." The guy said.

"Okay. Love you." Okay, that hurt. Then, she kissed him. It kind of made me uncomfortable to see it because I think they were trying to swallow each other.

When they stopped, he drove away. Then, Kat saw me.

"Did you see that?" She asked.

Do I lie? No.

"Um... yeah, have you told Liam?"

"No, I haven't told anyone except Abi, so please don't say anything. "I promise I'll tell him... Just not yet... Soon."

"Of course. But you can't keep hiding things from him, and us. Like, for instance, that tattoo on your foot that you think no one knows about."

"You know about the heart?"

"Yeah. You came to my flat barefoot one day and I saw it. It's not that hard to spot."

"Oh, okay. Well, I promise I'll tell everyone about everything soon... Just let me see how things go with Danny, okay?"

"Sure thing Kat."

"Thanks Nialler!" She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and heads to her and Abi's flat. When she gets to the door, she hollers back to me.

"Love ya Blue Eyes."

"Love you too." More than she'll ever know.
