But I take it all back now.
I'd just finished writing the last song on the extended edition of the You Belong With Me album, "If This Was a Movie". I put my heart and soul into writing that song. All of my emotions from everything that happened with Liam just poured out.
To be honest, on the inside, I'm a wreck from everything, but on the outside, you'd never know. I'd say I'm doing a pretty damn good job at hiding my feelings.
Oh, and we'd just finished the "You Belong With Me" music video to get buzz about me going for the extendid edition album release. I had a blast shooting it. I got to play two people! A snotty brunette that thinks she's hot, and an adorable nerdy blonde who likes the snotty brunettes boyfriend, who is played by the Lucas Til! He's sooo cute! And country, he reminds me of Abi. But he's a really sweet guy. I had a great time with him.
And, most importantly, I'm moving to California. I'm not sure what Abi's going to do though. I can tell she likes going to collage here in NYC, but I don't know. Maybe she'll go?
I walk in to the living room, proud that I just finished the last song, and put a smile on my face. Abi is sitting on the couch watching H2O.
"Ugh!!! Why do they have to make the surfer guys soooo freaking hot?!" She exclaims throwing her hands in the air.
"I don't know. Maybe because, surfer guys are hot?"
"True dat sista! What's up."
"Well... It's been a week since I told you the Label was moving me to California, and I was... wondering what you've decided... Keep in mind that our friendship will not change no matter what you decide. So if you want to say here, great! And if you don't, awesome. But know that-" she cut me off of my rambling.
"Kat, of course I'm going! I've already got the transfer process started.nWithout a doubt in my mind I wanna go!"
"Really?"
"Of course!" I ran over and gave her a huge hug.
"I love ya chick!"
"Love ya too kid!"
After a few minutes of silence, with us watching the show. Then, she brough up the question that made my insides do back flips.
"So... Are you going to tell any of the guys?"
"Umm..." I could feel my smile start to fade, so I quickly put on another fake one. "Probably not. I mean, I'll text Niall, I guess, or one of them, and then it'll get to Liam."
"Oh good... Why don't you go do that now?"
"Ugh! Fine."
I went upstairs to get my phone, and saw that I had four missed calls, and five texts.
One call from each Harry, Niall, Zayn, and Louis... Not surprised there wasn't one from Liam.
And two texts from Niall, and one from Harry, Zayn and Louis.
The texts from Niall were:
Kat, I'm sorry. I should have waited before getting on that plane ot say goodbye... Please forgive me. You have no idea how much I regret it.
