Review: This story has some promise with some work. It’s nice that the story jumps right into
the steamy romance and action, but it does not leave any time for character development or to
show us the supernatural world. We don’t know who the characters are or what they mean to
each other without being told through exposition, and by the third chapter the main character
has already had sex with her romantic interest, been introduced to the existence of vampires
and werewolves, and is meeting his family. The story has a lot of clichés, problematic situations
and dialogue, and grammar issues, which is okay for a first-time writer. I think the author’s
work will only improve with time and experience. With some work on the pacing and character
development, this story would be much stronger.

Review: This story has a really interesting world. It’s a werewolf story mixed with something like
Mission: Impossible, which makes the narrative really fun. There are some interesting twists on
werewolf mythology that help make this stand out from other werewolf stories. However, the
writing is challenging to read and understand. There are a lot of flashbacks that break up the
story at unnecessary times. It’s often hard to understand exactly what’s going on. Our main
character seems like fun, she’s quippy and rough around the edges, but the other characters fall
flat in comparison. There might be too many elements of her backstory at play here. It all
becomes very muddled. Ultimately this story needs to clarify and slow down the pacing as well
as have some proofreading done so that readers can enjoy the story even more.

Review: This is a fun high school romance story set in the supernatural world of vampires. The
main character has a clear desire and motivation – she wants to find her mate so she doesn’t
have to be alone since her parents died. There are hints to a greater protagonist in the rogue
werewolf. And there’s a nice twist when her mate ends up being who she didn’t expect. The
writing style is a bit dramatic and there are lots of grammatical errors. There’s a lot of
exposition that takes away from the excitement of the story. The story also falls into some
expected clichés. Overall, the pacing could be slowed way down so we spend more time with
the characters and learn more about the fun of the world and the mythology of the
werewolves, but the story has a lot of potential for a fun and dramatic high school story.
