To say I was a bundle of nerves walking into school with Chelsea the next morning, would be a complete lie. All night I tossed and turned going over everything that Gavin and I talked about while at his house and I still was in shock.

It made absolutely zero sense to me how someone that looked like he did could have feelings for someone who looks like me, plain and boring.

When Chelsea and I were done getting stuff out of our lockers we headed into class and instead of sitting down I walked over to her desk and stared down at my fingers, completely oblivious to a single thing she was telling me.

"So does that sound good to you Sar?" Chelsea asked me and I responded with a "yeah" not even knowing what she asked.

A giggle erupted from her lips and I brought my gaze up to her amused expression.

"What?"

Shaking her head she leaned on her desk, placing her chin on her fist.

"I just asked you if you would consider going on a date with Gavin and then letting him have his way with you afterward and you said yeah." My eyes went wide with shock.

"See, I knew you weren't paying attention to me." Turning my gaze away from her I looked toward the entry of the classroom. Part of me couldn't wait for Gavin to get here just so I could see his face again. The other part was nervous about sharing a desk with him for the next hour.

"Earth to Sarah, are you in there, hello." Rolling my eyes I turned  back towards my very amused and annoying best friend and glared at her.

"Awe is someone mad that I pulled her from her daydream about her boyfriend." She teased and I shoved her playfully.

"He's not my boyfriend Chelsea we barely know each other and he just told me all this stuff he's been holding inside last night after I accused him of cheating on his non existent girlfriend." This time it was Chelsea's turn to be shocked and I groaned not wanting to hear what she had to say, but knowing I was going to hear it anyway.

"Girl you realize I am partners with his best friend right, Cameron tells me everything that Gavin tells him just to get it off his chest." I whip around wide eyed at her smiling face. Like she's trying to say she knows more than I do.

"What has he told you?" She makes a gesture like she's zipping her lips and I give her a playful glare. Out of all the times she could keep her mouth shut she chooses now.

She turns her body away from me and I give her another glare before walking over to my seat as the classroom door creaks open.

Gavin's cheery face fills my vision and he walks swiftly over to me and takes a seat right next to me never once breaking eye contact. I smile at him unable to hide how happy I am to finally see him, even though its only been a little while since we last saw the other.

"Good morning pretty girl."

"Good morning, how was practice?"

He smiles at my memory.

"It was good coach has us running drills so we can start having practice games soon. I would love it if you came and saw me, that is if you want to or have time." He rushed out afraid I was going to turn him down.

Amused I shook my head.

"That would actually be pretty fun, let me know when and I'll be there." We turn back towards the front and my attention still dwindles on Gavin even as Mrs. Pratt grabs the classes attention to get started for today.

About 20 minutes in I feel a slight nudge against my hand and peaked down under my lashes to see a hand holding something out to me.

Confused I give my attention to Gavin who is gesturing with his eyes for me to take the piece of paper.
