Amongst the glowing city, two other "lucky" people would experience the auroras...
"C'mon Dusty! Your going to miss it!" Called a small fox, her 9 tails swishing happily. Dusty covered her ears, she would give anything to just make her sister leave her alone. "Look at the.... Ahhh!" The fox screamed, Dusty jumped up, unsheathing her katana. "Sunspot? This isn't funny!" Dusty yelled, searching frantically around for her little sister. Movement caught her eye as she saw 4 sly Racoons, pulling her sister away. "No!" She yelled raising her Katana over her head, she charged towards the first racoon which tried to hit her in the gut, but she dodged and disposed of him in the stomach, blood dripped from the katana as she looked at the other three, the youngest about her age. She dashed forward and swiped up at one of the older Racoons, the blade sliding up it's jaw line like butter, it howled in pain gripping its snout, she quickly stabbed into it's chest, ending it's life. She looked back, but the Racoons were gone, the image of the youngest still in her mind, it's orange eyes like a cruel flame. She looked around, running on the sidewalks, threatening any Racoons she saw in alleys, but she couldn't find her sister. When she got back to her alley she slunk down, tears forming in her eyes. "S-sunspot...." She remembered all the other people she lost. "I'm alone!" She screamed, fury burning in her heart. She swore that she would find those Racoons and kill them like the rest. She woke up the next day, her eyes red and puffy, "Want ya sista' back?" Cackled a voice from the fires scape above her. Dusty snapped open her eyes and growled, her wolf tail rearing up like a scorpion. "It's you!" She growled, looking into those cruel fire-like eyes. He laughed, "me? Is there something wrong about mua?" He said flipping onto a can near Dusty. She grabbed for her katana, but it wasn't there, she looked up at the racoon that was studying the blade. "Give that back!" She yelled making a grab for him, but realising he was behind her. "Tut tut" he said shaking his head, "I'm the only one who knows where your precious little sister is" he sneered. Dusty growled, a strange tingling in her blood, like adrenaline flowing through her blood, she jumped up to were he stood with unearthly height. " Give me my frickin' sister back!" She yelled snatching the sword out of his hand pointing it at his throat," call me when your packed" he said handing her a grimy card and a cell phone, " and don't call 911 or something, or else she's dead," he laughed swinging to a trash can and dashing into the street. Dusty scowled into the distance, "I'll get it you! FlameSpark!" She yelled, reading the name on the card. She sighed and remmembered the adrenaline, "must have to do with that freaky stuff that happened when I was born", she muttered, remembering her blue aurora.
