Ashwati's viewpoint :

"Hey!" I heard someone chirp around me and looked up to see Kamlesh standing with his million dollar smile stealing the show.

"Hi Kamlesh." I smiled back.

"I see your friends aren't here today." Kamlesh smirked at me.

"One is." I replied.

"He's busy with a girl." Kamlesh giggled and directed his eyes towards Ishan who was talking to the new girl Abhay flirts with.

Ugh I just hate her. First Abhay, then Shubman and now even Ishan. She's really using the guys so well.

She didn't even spare our farmhouse and caused such a big fight between Abhay and Riya and then of course Shubman too.

"What's wrong?" Kamlesh questioned me on noticing my expressions.

"Nothing." I shrugged it off.

"Let's get to class together then." Kamlesh suggested and I agreed.

"Hey by the way." I said seeking Kamlesh's attention as we took our seats.

"Yeah?" He questioned.

"How do you know Ishan's my friend?" I asked him.

"I just do." He shrugged his shoulders with a playful smirk on his lips and I couldn't help but smile at his cuteness.

We sat together in all the lectures since Ishan's with Anushree and none of my other friends are attending college today.

"Ash." Ishan stopped me in my tracks when I was walking towards the cafeteria for lunch.

"Ishan I think you shouldn't be talking to her, Samikhya dislikes that girl." I said in a really low voice.

"She knows about it." He whispered back.

He told me that it's important for him to be friends with Anushree. I didn't ask him much about it and decided on talking later at the farmhouse.

Since Ishan's having lunch with her, Kamlesh is the only option I'm left with.

"So Ashwati, where are you from?" Kamlesh questioned me after we collected our lunch.

"Mumbai." I answered him.

"That's a cool place." He smiled.

"I've been there for my cricket practices." He added.

"You play cricket? Wow." I admired.

"Do you like the sport?" He questioned me with a smile.

"A lot!" I exclaimed in happiness.

"Same." Kamlesh smiled.

"Our choices really match." I giggled.

"Except one." He said.

"Yeah." I muttered in a low voice.

"Why don't you believe in love though?" He questioned me and I just looked at him blankly.

Why is he asking me this? I just hate talking about love! Nothing termed as love truly exists. Everyone's so selfish and fake!

"I have my reasons." I mumbled after a minute.

"Oh okay." Kamlesh spoke.

He must've realised I'm not interested in this talk.

After the recess was over, Kamlesh and I went together for our digital electronics lecture.

"Students, its time for your project work. Every student is paired up with their bench mate for working on the model and paperwork." Our professor announced.
