" Goodmorning po Dra. Boromeo" Bati sa akin nung isang nurse. Pansin kong halos wala ako masyadong kaibigan na nurse sa coronary ward. Ayaw nila sa akin dahil masyado akong masungit. I know that they call me a spinster doctor. Well damn them all, are they even aware that I am married.

" Yes doc" Wala namang ibang puwedeng sabihin iyung nurse kundi yes lang. But seriously I adore nurses so much. We doctors, we write orders but they do it for us. Oo nga at masmatagal ang pag-aaral namin ng kursong medisina but nurses are superheros. They work like they own it. We operate but they take good care of our patients afterwards. They give meds, they do almost everything.

" Ja" That was my name. Saglit akong napapikit ng makita ko kung sino ang tumawag sa akin.

Si Wade, halatang puyat siya dahil na siguro galing siya ng night duty.

" Kamusta?" That was the first thing I always asks him.

" As usual. You know it takes a lot of time and patience to change ortho dressings, Ja" He smiled but deep inside I know that he is still hurting. Shit! Ano ba iyan Ja.

" Bakit ka pala andito?" I asked him. Tipid siyang ngumiti bago niya ako niyakap.

" Wala lang, namiss lang kita ng sobra. Ja, please take me back. Ang sakit sakit parin Ja" He whispered as he was still hugging me tightly.

I closed my eyes as I let him hug me.

Umiling ako

" I'm married, Wade. Please forgive me" Shock was evident in his eyes. Seconds passed when it changed to anger.

" Sino? Sino ang lalaking pinakasalan mo? What is wrong with you, Ja? Bakit? Bakit ganon ganon lang? You broke up with me three months ago and you're just telling me now that you are married? Is this some kind of joke, Ja? Dahil kung oo hindi ako naniniwala. You can't get married that fast and you can't just get married because you are in love with me" Puno ng hinanakit niyang wika sa akin. True to what he said, alam kong totoo lahat ng sinabi niya.

And yes, I am in love with him. But see? Paano ko mapapatunayan na mahal ko siya kung nagtaksil ako sa kaniya?

" It's doctor Ibarra" Nakita ko kung paano umigting ang panga niya dahil sa sinabi kong pangalan.

" So it's Doctor Juan Carlo Ibarra that you have chosen over me. Bakit siya? Because he is to be the possible next chief of surgery?" I looked at him with anger.

" What the heck are you saying, Wade? Hindi ito dahil dun? It was a stupid decision that I made. That is why I am making it right" Making it right? Really Janine. Make it right? Pagkatapos mong magpakama sa kinikilala mong asawa iyan ang sasabihin mo?

" I am about to file for an annulment" I voiced out. He sighed as he looked at me.

" I can't even believe this has happened to us, Ja. That explains why Doctor Ibarra broke up with Doctora Sandoval the same day you ended everything between us. That was a clean shot, Ja. But what now huh? Did you already spread your legs for him? Did he fuck you well? Have you consumated your marriage?" Yes, Wade.
