tw: smut implied

"Hello," Daryl looked from Michael back to Luke, waiting to be introduced.
"You must be Michael's boyfriend."
✱✱✱
"I'm Luke." Luke smiled at the stranger but didn't come closer, he was shirtless and probably had dried cum somewhere on his body.
Neither he or the two Cliffords probably wanted that.
"I see I interrupted something," He smirked at his son and Luke wanted to disappear. "I won't bother you anymore, I'll see you," He looked at Michael, "In the office tomorrow and Luke, I'm counting on seeing you at the family dinner next weekend."
Luke hoped Michael will say something, anything to take control of the situation.
"If he won't be working," Michael added before moving so he was in his dad's way of seeing Luke.
Daryl Clifford nodded before turning around and leaving the apartment.
"Fuck," Michael shouted after a minute.
All of Luke's nerves left the apartment together with Michael's dad.
"Michael," He walked over to the visibly angry man. "Talk to me."
"Fuck, Luke." Michael looked at him. "I'm so sorry. I should have said something else; I should have known."
"Known what? Does your dad often come by when you have visitors?" It was an attempt of a joke but Michael's expression didn't give out any hints of joy.
He sighed before sitting down. "Sam probably told him that I didn't do to the business meeting alone, and she knows I don't have a boyfriend."
"What's her goal?" Luke frowned. "To expose you? She is the one who suggested the meeting in the first place, didn't she?"
Michael laughed. "She doesn't look at me as her brother but as her competition. I've been doing better in bringing new clients to the company recently and going to a meeting with a supposed boyfriend would count as endangering relationship with clients."
"Don't worry," He continued. "I won't make you go. I'll say you're working for the dinner party and then I'll find some other excuse."
Luke walked over and put his hand on Michael's shoulder. "Your success shouldn't be measured differently if you're single."
Michael laughed and leaned his head against Luke's arm. "That shipped had sailed when I was nineteen."
"What do you mean?"
"You're telling me you're never googled my name?" The older man huffed when Luke shook his head. "Of course, you didn't. When I was a teenager, I had a hard time coming to terms with my sexuality which resulted in me going out, drinking a lot and taking all the models, at least five years older than me home." Michael looked at him Luke who just squeezed his shoulder. Luke wasn't sure what response Michael wanted from him. "I was in press all the time, trying to cover for one photo of me going home with a boy. We weren't even holding hands but I got scared and tried hard to look straight in the public's eyes."
"What happened?"
"Well, it turns out while my dad is many things, he is not a homophobe. He didn't care if I wanted to date boys, he did care that I was on yellow pages every day. Bad press for the business."
"Is that why you didn't want to be seen in public with me?"
Michael laughed. "One of the reasons."
Luke sat down in front of him. "You know Michael, I'm a big boy. I don't care in my face is on the cover of some magazine."
"Why are you saying this?" Michael asked, he was frowning and Luke wanted to kiss him. Which was a problem because of what he was about to suggest.
"We broke things off to protect me and my identity and my son. But I like spending time with you, and I like this," He nudged his head in the direction of the bedroom, making Michael chuckle. "I don't mind pretending to be your boyfriend if that means I can call you and hang out with you when I want to. At least if it is fake official your family will leave you alone, and we'll do whatever the fuck we want to do."
"What about Dylan?"
"He's got a famous mother but we kept him protected well enough. He's sometimes featured in magazines but Jada's publicist takes care of most things."
Michael seemed to be thinking but he was looking over Luke's shoulder so the younger man kicked him lightly. "What do you say?"
"I don't want you to do this because you feel like you have to."
"I want to," He immediately said. "Do you know how hard it is to find someone who's decent in bed and I know for a fact is not a serial killer?"
Michael laughed.
"Also, if we do this, we'll have to tell Dylan, which means we'll have to tell Ash and Calum."
"Will I get a shovel talk?"
Luke's smile reached his eyes. "Probably. But also, there's no way one of them won't tell my mum. And while you have your family dinners, I have mine."
"And two older brothers," Michael added.
"Honestly," Luke sighed. "It'd be nice to not have to listen to my mum complain about how I haven't gone on a date in almost a year."
"So, we'd kill two birds with one stone."
"Three, the sex is good." Luke shrugged his shoulders.
Michael laughed and pulled Luke forward. "The sex is good," He whispered against Luke's lips before kissing him.
This time around there was no glass on the floor but Michael still carried Luke to the bathroom.
As he fucked him slowly for the second time that day he groaned against his ear. "I'll make this worth your while."
