Lost and Found {Onesie x Raptor} pt.2

Last chapter....

"Ok. Umm see you Friday then?"
"See you Friday"

We continue....

~Raptor~

I said bye to Onesie and she gave me a hug. I don't know why but I kinda was expecting something different, something.... better. But I'm not gonna complain, her arms wrapped around my shoulders and I wrapped mine around her waist. Her hug was soft and gentle; I could feel her shaking a little, but that didn't prevent her from keeping the hug going for like a whole other minute. She later ended the hug and waved at me as she walked away and went inside a car in the distance

When my mom picked me up from school, she started asking me those questions every parent asks their child when they get back from school, I told her all about Onesie. My mom seemed so happy while I was telling her how awesome she is; she was really happy that I made a new friend. I asked if she could come to our house tomorrow; she said she would glad to have her home tomorrow and it would be a great opportunity to get to know her

After school, I couldn't stop thinking about Onesie, she was taking up my whole mind; I even forgot to show mom my Tilted Towers drawing.

I just can't get her off my mind

And it got even worse when I remember she was gonna be right here where I am right now in my house tomorrow I'm less than 24 hours, goosebumps we're all over my body soon after that, I was feeling something I have never ever felt before, was it......
Love at first sight?

~Onesie~

"I see you made a new friend"
I wonder what mom meant by friend, she said it in a weird way
"Yeah, his name is Raptor he's really nice he even invited me to his house tomorrow after school, is it ok if I go?"
"I mean you guys were hugging, you already seem like really good friends, you can go to his house tomorrow, that's how friendships start"
"Thank you"
"See? I told you. It was gonna be easy to make new friends"
"Yeah, he's cool"

I'm glad I found him

The next day after school...

The last bell rang and we were all packing up to leave. Raptor packed up really quick and waited for me. We walked outside of school together and got into Raptor's car.

"Oh hi honey! You must be Onesie! Raptor has been talking about you a lot!"
I'm guessing that's his mom
"Yeah I'm Onesie nice to meet you"

Then we started having a conversation about my life back in Happy Hamlet. I told them mostly everything. My friends, school, and how I practiced karate. Raptor's mom told me about how Raptor does boxing. I thought it was pretty cool and made him even cuter than he already was

When we finally arrived, Raptor showed me around his house and showed me his dog. It was the cutest thing ever! Maybe even more than Raptor, it was a golden retriever with beautiful dark blonde fur and honey colored eyes, his name was Ben. We played with Ben for a while and then we went upstairs to Raptor's room, he showed me all his drawings, they were impressive. He also told me about how his dad was a pilot and showed me a photo album of his dad flying airplanes, but not all of them were normal airplanes, some were battle airplanes, like the ones you use in Battle and Air Royale. He told me about how his dad is in the Battle Royale and Air Royale. I was impressed by all of his stories but I was even more impressed when Raptor told me he wanted to be in the Battle and Air Royale just like his dad; that's why he did boxing, but he wanted to do more to be like his dad

"Why don't you take karate? I don't want to be in Battle Royale but I know it will help you a lot"
"That's a good idea! I'll tell my parents later it would be an amazing way to get ready plus I would get to do it with you"

Aww

Hours passed and we shared so many stories about our lives.
We were sitting next to each other in his bed when he suddenly took the pillow from behind me and hit me in the face with it

"What did you just do?"
"I don't know! You tell me!"
"Oh I'll show you!"
I took the same pillow he hit me with and threw him at his face
"PILLOW FIGHT!"

We took all the pillows in his room and started throwing them at each other. After a few minutes, I ran toward him with a pillow in my hand but I didn't realize where I was stepping so I accidentally slipped on a blanket that was laying on the floor and what happened next was probably the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in my life

I fell on top of Raptor and made him fall backwards
He was laying on the floor while I was laying on top of him. We looked at each other and started laughing

After a few minutes of laughing we looked at each other and the laughing stopped. Both of our faces were hella red, but idk why, my body didn't move away form his, it stayed there and so did his, then the words that came out of his mouth made me freeze

"Dang you are so beautiful"

I froze for a split second and my mind went crazy and I started to feel butterflies in my stomach, then without thinking these words came out of my mouth

"I like you in that way Raptor, I know it's only been a day but-"
He placed his finger on my lips to make me quiet

"I like you too"

What came next left me speechless and frozen

He held my head and pulled it down so both of our lips were touching each other's. His beautiful lips were soft and sensitive. The kiss was warm, careful, and passionate; I only got to experience the feeling for less than a second, it was short but wonderful
Then Raptor pulled away,
"Sorry I shouldn't have done that I didn't mean to I just couldn't-"
"It's ok. Lets just keep this between you and I ok?"
"Ok."

Every single day after that was awkward, but as time passed, it didn't matter that much, it felt normal. Ever since that day, we were inseparable; not just because we liked each other in that way, but because we became best friends.

Woahhh I write this so long ago and forgot to publish but yeah sorry. And yeah about the kiss, I forgot they were this young while I was writing so..... yeah, I thought they were in middle school for a second but I wasn't gonna delete that it took me a while and it's kinda important for the plot of the story so ya...

I feel like this could be an actual book not just a one-shot but hey, maybe one day I'll convert it into a book who knows
