5:30 am, damn it I wish I could stay in bed forever

It took me a while to actually get my eyes opened, I don't even want to mention how long it took me to get out from bed

Mornings are the worst part of the day, I'm sure everyone can agree on that. But I'll try to get that idea out of my head because today is special
Kinda, we get to see who our partner for the mission is. We will be spending a lot of time with them and working together for like everyday. I'm hoping I get Luxe, the girl I like. She's brave, kind, tough, smart, strong, and uh...... hot....

I took the comfortable blankets off and forced myself to get up. I headed towards the bathroom for a quick shower to help me wake up. Once I was done, I put on my usual outfit; some sweatpants and a jacket kinda hoodie like. I put my key necklace on my neck as well, but it wasn't any necklace; it was a lucky necklace, my favorite, I just feel like need the luck today

6:15 am wtf! I'm supposed to be there in 15 minutes!

Without thinking I rushed out of the house and got in the car hoping to get there on time

6:27 am shit I still have to walk all the way there

I parked my car as quickly as possible and ran to the secret temple. Yes, I said ran to the temple. The thing is that since we train for something secret, we have to park our car all the way in the RV park or Retail Row or somewhere far enough from the temple so we don't reveal its spot

I ran as fast as I could to get there on time, or at least try to. Right as I was arriving I realized something
I'm fucking dumb
I left my fucking backpack at home so all my fucking equipment was gone and I have nothing to train with fucking Christ I hate my life

I got in the temple
thank god I had my keys
I rushed inside and met with the others

6:36 shit 6 minutes late

"Hey sorry guys I'm late I lost track of time"
"Actually, your right on time. We were about to give partners; just don't be late again"
"Sorry master"
"One question. Where is your backpack?"
"I forgot it at home, my apologies it won't happen again"
"Let's just go straight into partners"

I nodded and felt ashamed, but I tried to focus on what was happening
