...While Mila slept, another vision came to her:
The doors to the police station, flew open.
"We've got Ohna!" A woman dressed in a suit said sternly, to the clerk.
Two officer carried a bearded man in, by his arms.
"You mean THEE Kevin Ohna? The one you've been after for FIVE years!" The clerk stuttered in shock.
"Yep!" She replied. "We'll be in Interrogation Room Two."
"Yes, DA Bryant." The clerk acknowledged
The two officers, sat the man down in a small room, with a table and chair. The woman step into the room, The officers closed the door behind her.
"So, Kevin - or should I say Mister Ohna, now that you're a prisoner in my custody. What made you slip up after all of these year? What made you come to the city? Did you finally see her true colors? You should just tell me where she is. Make it easy on yourself."
"Never!" The bearded man snapped.
"Oh, Kevin, Kevin. What happened to you? I thought you really loved me. Your training at the Dargon was going so well. You had me! Then - our senior year - that gang - why did you go with them?"
"I've changed - really I HAVE!" He pleaded.
"Well, considering your priors... Plus, kidnapping, and harboring a fugitive - you'll be up the river, for quite some time."
"She's NOT a fugitive - my record, should have been expunged!"
"You know what." The woman glared. "She's just like YOU! A threat to herself, and those around her! I suggest you do everyone a favor, and TELL ME WHERE SHE'S AT!"
"You CAN'T take her!" He rebuked. "She means EVERYTHING to me! I'll NEVER tell you!
The woman collected herself. You use to want what was right. I remember you - sitting in a coffee shop - playing your djembe, and reading your poems. Where's that Kevin?"
"This IS, what's right!" He insisted.
The woman breathed deeply. "You leave me no choice..."
She opened the steel door. The two officers, stepped in.
"Take him to his holding cell!" The commanded, as the officers, jerked him from his chair. "You'll go before Judge Tawlin, tomorrow."...
Some time had gone by, since that night. Mila didn't understand why someone would be rewarded for killing her. She grew more homesick as the day went by. Her brother Jike had gone off to college.
One day, Mila and her bodyguards were relaxing in her suite. Kage had replaced his bed with a Hammock. He placed it by a window, so that could look out over the city. Tomo, too, replaced his bed; but with a tatami mat. Mila still had feeling for Kage, but they were mostly anger.
"Look down there!" Kage pointed out the window. "That man - waiting to cross the street."
"Yeah! What about him?" Mila snapped.
"I have a perfect view of his jugular!" Kage continued.
Tomo came over to the hammock; to get a better look.
Mila was frustrated. "Would you stop that, Kage! Now look - you've got Tomo involved. All I ever here from you Tomo - is, how you can kill someone. Ahg!"
