Chapter 17 - Invitation Only • Part 2

*My Johnny. The man i love is standing metres away from me as my Dad begins to walk forward. He squeezes my hand as i remember, thats what he did when i was little.
The nervous feeling leaves, as a rush of happiness fills me. I felt at home looking at him...*

I look round the room in awe before my eyes land on Johnny.

I inspect every square inch of the man as he does the same to me. Finding our eyes, i see a tear in Johnny eye, instantly making me cry. I look to my Dad, he's already starting to tear up as well. As I make my way to the alter, my eyes then find my Mum and the girls, you guessed it, tearing up. I look back to Johnny and realise how handsome he looks (as always) and how lucky i am, right in this moment, to soon have him as my husband.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join together in holy matrimony, John Christopher Depp and Harper Elizabeth Jones..."

"Do you John Christopher Depp take Harper Elizabeth Jones to be your lawful wedded wife?"

"I do..."

"Do you Harper Elizabeth Jones solemnly swear to love, honour and obey till death do you part?"

"I do..."

"I shall now pronounce you husband and wife."

For the first time, i kiss my husband. His lips felt softer than ever as i fell in love with him all over again.
The room erupts into cheers and clapping, as confetti is thrown over us whilst we walk out hand-in-hand with my husband. Johnny takes one last look at each and every person in the room before giving a final salute.

We walk out and i see the most beautiful horse and carriage.

"Wow, this is beautiful Johnny" i say as i turn his head and kiss him softly.

"Just for you Harp, or should i say Mrs Depp" he laughs.

As we sit in the carriage, Johnny takes off his blazer and puts it round me, rubbing my arms as he does so. I lean into his chest as the breeze hits us. I look back around as everyone waves us off, getting smaller and smaller as we go further and further.

When we arrive back at the castle, we step down from the carriage and walk back inside. Marilyn comes over to Johnny and the girls walk over to me.

"Hey the dinners about to start, are you coming?" They all say in unison.

"Yeah just going to freshen up, we'll be down in a minute don't worry bud", Johnny says to Marilyn as i smile at both the girls, shortly followed by a squeal of excitement.
