Wow. Where do i start?

So last time i spoke to you, it was my wedding day. Well, that was 7 years ago - it's now 2030.

It'll take me a while to bring you up to date, so i'll try and keep it short. After Johnny and I found out i was pregnant, we told everyone. Let me tell you, it was mixed reviews. My Mum and Dad weren't happy, but the girls we're accepting. The band and Marilyn were shocked, but as they knew how me and Johnny felt they were just as excited. So that was it, 8 months later and our little Arthur came along. a bundle of joy came into our family.

After we proved to them we weren't just a 'fling' (as they called it - well my Mum and Dad), we showed them again in 2037. I was pregnant. Johnny was brilliant through both pregnancy's and soon enough, our gorgeous Elizabeth arrived - but we like to call her Betty. And of course, we can't forget our lovely puppy Bailey, she's still with us at the age of 9 and she's just as cute. The kids grew up with her, so she's like another sister to them, just like she's another baby for me and Johnny. Of course the kids are growing up now, Arthur's 6 and Betty is 3 - they can be a nightmare sometimes but we wouldn't change them for all the world.

As we know my Dad had a son-of-a-cunt girlfriend, well she finally left after she found someone 'better'. It took him a while to get back to his normal self but he's back out dating now. Similarly, my Mum is in a steady relationship and has been for the past 3 years. Avery is married, and they've had a lovely baby boy, and Zoe has got a fiancé and she's 3 months pregnant. It's mad to think we used to go to college and university, and now we've got families. I sit back and think about that sometimes...

The castle. The gorgeous castle Johnny bought for us is still called home, and i love it. I still love it just as much as the day he bought it. We have adored bringing the kids up in France, it's such a beautiful country. Johnny leaves every now and then to do a few gigs with the band, and he's back before we know it. It's nice that he still does something that he enjoys. It's nice seeing him so happy.

7:54am
I feel eyes on me. I open them to find Betty staring at me. I kiss her on the nose before lifting her up onto the bed and put her in between me and Johnny. She immediately finds Johnny's hands and fiddles with them, moving onto his hair and ears. Bailey bounds out of her bed and jumps up at the side of mine. The same as Betty, i scoop her up and put her on my knee, stroking her fur as Betty wakes John up. Soon enough, a little Arthur runs in the door and jumps on the bed scrambling all over Johnny waking him up.

"What... what is it son?" Johnny grunts as he rubs his eyes.

Arthur looks at me, as i mouth to him 'It's Daddy's birthday' and pass over a present that i'd been hiding under the bed.

Arthur passes it to Johnny as he squeals, "Happy Birthday Daddy!".

"Wow kids, thank you so much. I'm such a lucky Dad aren't I?" he exclaims before looking at both Arthur and Betty, and then to me.

"Happy birthday Babe!" I smile at him before giving him a peck on the lips.

"Ewwww Mum" Arthur screams before covering his eyes.

Me and Johnny look at him before laughing and turning back to each other.

"Happy, happy birthday" i say again before passing him a box.
"Now i know we said no presents, but i made this before you said it, so here you go..."

"Oh babe, you didn't have to..." He says as he gives me another peck as he takes my hand and squeezes it three times - our way of saying 'I Love You'.

Damn he smelt good, like home.

"I love you too" i whisper.

He unwraps the box, and takes the lid off to find a leather book with a silver plaque on the front reading 'The Depps 2021 - ?'

Looking through the book, he reminisces through every memory. Every page turned is another, 'ah remember the day' and 'that was the day where the kids...' and 'that was such a good day, we laughed the entire time'.

After closing the book he looks at me, Arthur, Betty and Bailey. He looks at each of us with the happiest smile i've ever seen on him.

"Wow... erm... this is gorgeous guys. I can't believe nine years has gone that fast. So much has happened, so much amazing stuff, you-know. I wouldn't have changed it for anything. Well maybe if i was ten years younger haha..."

He leans forward and kisses each of us on the head, getting Betty on one knee and Arthur on the other, squeezing them three times, he whispers in their ear, "How about we go downstairs with Mommy and have chocolate cake for breakfast?"

"Yes yes yes cake! Birthday cake!" squealed Arthur and Betty in unison.

We all got up off the bed, I picked Betty up and rested her on my hip, and Johnny grabbed his hoodie and put it on before taking Arthur's hand and leading everyone downstairs.

As we opened the door to the kitchen, it was food galore. The night before i made a buffet for Johnny's birthday. Pizzas, cakes, cocktail sausages, all the appetisers and starters you can think of...

9:02am
Sitting round the dining table, i see empty plates and empty cups. I take a second to myself and look. Just look.
Bailey finishes up her breakfast and jumps up on my knee. Johnny wipes Betty's mouth as she's playing with his face and pulling his hair. Arthur joins in and jumps on his back, tearing at his hoodie. I look at Johnny and see him laughing uncontrollably. I see Arthur and Betty laughing and squealing along with him. I soon find myself laughing along. I jump up and swing Betty round my shoulders running into the back garden, Johnny, Arthur and Bailey running along behind. Running and running for miles before we all collapse on the grass, panting for air and still laughing.

"Mummy?" asked Arthur.

"Yeah son?" i replied.

"How did you find Daddy?"

I looked at Johnny and gave him a small laugh before looking at Arthur. Smiling at him, i answered his question, "Well, you see, It was an accident, i wasn't looking for him. He said one thing, I said another. People have a way of blinking and missing a moment. I was scared of that. Next thing i knew, i wanted to spend the rest of my life in the middle of that conversation."

I found myself staring into Johnny's eyes as i had a flashback to the night we met. Arthur brought me out of my thoughts.

"When did that happen?" Arthur asks curiously.

Johnny jumps in, "It all started when it was the start of summer and Mommy went to one of my concerts a long time ago."
