Chapter 15: Ten-year-long ship has sailed!

Dipper POV:

I sat down and touched my lip. Mabel sat next to me.

I looked up at Grunkle Ford who was pacing back and forth.

"Are you insane, Dipper??! Kissing Bill?! Did you know it was him?!" he said, turning to face me.

I shook rapidly, my face red and my eyes puffy from endless crying.

"Did you?!" He asked.

I hesitated. "Y-yes...I knew it was him..."

Grunkle Ford clutched his fists in frustration and shoved them in his pockets. "Do you know how deceitful he is?! Do you have any idea how dangerous he can be?!"

"He's not dangerous or deceitful!" I blurted.

He pointed to my lip. "So I just assume that appeared because you just tripped or something?"

"That IS what happened!"

He sat down and rubbed his eyes. "When you said you were Bisexual, I was more than accepting. I said you could date a demon for all I care. I DID NOT MEAN FOR YOU TO TAKE THOSE WORDS LITERALLY, DIPPER!"

I leaned in next to Mabel and cried. She hugged me.

"And you, young lady. You didn't tell me how you knew about your brother's insane affair."

She gulped and sighed. "D-Dipper..."

I looked up at her.

She exhaled a shaky breath. "I...I think it's time we come clean."

I nodded. "Well... It all started with a Pin..."

*AFTER A LONG EXPLANATION LATER*

"So...what do you think?"

Ford stared blankly at me for a moment, then at Mabel. "You've known about him and Bill for a decade already??!"

She sighed. "Yes... I did..."

Ford switched his attention to me. "AND YOU ATTEMPTED TO KILL YOURSELF FOR HIM??!"

I choked on tears and nodded shakily.

"DIPPER! HOW COULD YOU??! I MEAN I KNOW PEOPLE DO INSANE THINGS FOR LOVE BUT STILL! I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH BILL HAS CHANGED, YOU SHOULD NEVER EVER PLAY WITH YOUR LIFE LIKE THAT!"

I wiped my eyes. "I-I know...I'm sorry..."

He sighed. "You're really in love with him?"

I looked up and nodded. "Yes, Grunkle Ford, I am. I know it's crazy, but he loves me too! We love each other! When I kissed him for the first time I felt complete! I feel safe with him! Yes, I did almost die for him, but you know what?! I would do it again a thousand times if necessary because now that I've fallen for him, A life without him doesn't even sound bearable!

He was quiet.

"So...What do you think?" I asked.

He stood up. "I...I have to think about it for a while..." he said as he walked to the vending machine.

Mabel hugged me tight. "I'm sorry, Dipper..." she said.

I hugged her back. That's when I looked out the window, it was dark.

"What time is it?" I asked, eyes widening.

"Almost 10, why?"

I gasped. "Bill is still out there!" I said, jumping up.

I grabbed my phone and ran to the door.

"Dipper, let me come with," Mabel said. "I haven't seen him since...you know..."
