• You knew that Margaret was insane

• She was going too take the chance and shoot Brooke while Montana attacked her

• That's why when the gun fired you shoved Brooke out of the way

• You never had a problem dying in the place of someone you loved

• Blood ran down your blue shirt and on to your jeans

• Brooke screamed and Montana jumped for Margaret

• Margaret shot Montana but not before Montana stabbed her in the throat

• Brooke ran too you shaking and pulling you into her lap

• "I'm so sorry baby you shouldn't have done that" She sobbed stroking your head.

• "Brooke it's okay" you whimpered clutching onto her hand that stroked your cheek

• "N-no it's not" "I love you," You said kissing the side of her blood thumb "I love you too"

• The bus pulled up into the camp and you heard the children scream

• "Come on," Brooke said lifting you

• She grabbed you and wrapped your arm around her neck too hold you while you walked out for help

• "Well find a payphone everything will be okay," She said

• Brooke wasn't ready to face that you were dying

• You two limped out of camp and then it felt as if every part of your body was on fire

• You screamed and fell down on the asphalt

• She rushed to your side

• "No no baby no we're gonna get help"

• Her head shook while she sobbed over your body

• The life was draining out of you fast

• You put a blood-covered hand on her cheek and smiled sadly

• "No Brooke we won't......but you will you're gonna make it out of here"

• Brooke didn't know that if you'd stayed in redwood and died there you'd be stuck forever

• You knew but that wasn't the fate you wanted

• And deep down you knew there was no hope for you making it back home. 

• She sobbed pulling you close in a hug

• The wound hurt like hell but you just
wanted her to hold you one last time

• She kisses your cheek and neck and face "Please don't leave me" she whispered

• Seconds later she felt your body go limp in her shaking arms
