Chapter 9) still friends?

Maddies POV:

I paced up and down the room. I just couldn't get what happened with Kendall. First she says she hates me and storms out of the house, now she calls me and tells me she forgives me and gives me full permission to date Gino. I just don't understand. I guess I can't complain though. I mean...... I do finally get to date Gino which is for sure a plus, but it just didn't feel right.

"Sooooo..." Gino broke the silence. "Kendall is ok with us dating?"

"Totally ok. Which is the weird thing. I don't understand how she could be so forgiving."

"Well maybe she realized how we felt about each other."

As he said that he took a couple steps towards me.

"No that's not it! She couldn't just forgive me that fast!"

"Maddie calm down. Now we can finally be together." Gino stepped closer to me. Far past breaking my space bubble. I could feel his breaths on mine.

" You don't get it Gino! This just doesn't feel right! I feel so guilty!"

"Does this make it feel right?"

I stood nervously as Gino inched closer to me until the gap between us was closed. Before I could protest further Gino placed one arm on my neck and the other around my waist. I felt a tingling sensation throughout my body as he pulled me closer to him.

I've had many kisses in my lifetime before, don't get me wrong. But this, this was a whole new feeling. My heart rate speed up as I felt Gino's surprisingly warm and comforting lips on mine. He grabbed my waist and tugged me closer, if there was such a thing. I could feel his heart was almost as fast as mine. I put my arms around his neck and tugged him struggling for him to be closer even though it was physically impossible.

He spun me around and pressed me up against the wall and crashed his lips to mine. He ran his hands along my sides. With every touch I felt a buzz of excitement. Speeding up, I put my hands under his shirt on his back and felt him shiver. I marveled in the fact that I had the same effect on him as he did on me.

His hand now stayed in place on my waist, unlike me who was running my hands along his back feeling the muscles contract. I pulled his shirt greedily making him come closer to me.

I think I surprised my self almost as much as I surprised him.

He pulled back forcefully and placed his forehead against mine breathing heavily. We stared at each other, breathing in each other's air, and admiring each other for a while before i finally said.

"Wow" I said as I felt my cheeks blush.

"Yeah." He gave me a smirk before pulling me in for another kiss.

I heard the door open and suddenly whipped my head around to see none other then Kendall standing in the door way. I pushed Gino off and smiled awkwardly at her.

"Wow guys. Didn't realize I was intruding, sorry." She looked down at her shoes obviously still angry at me.

"Ummm Gino do u mind maybe giving Kendall and I some alone time."

"Sure." He replied quickly running to my room. Obviously trying to avoid what was going to go down in here.

"Kendall what's going on?!" I blurted. "First your mad, then your crying your eyes out, then you text me back saying you forgive me. What's up with you?"

"Well..... I guess I just realized you guys should be together." She bit her lip. A signal she was lying. She should know I knew her far too well for that.

"Kendall.... Really? I can tell when your lying. "Please just tell me what's going on!"

She sighed."Ugh fine! We were going to keep it a secret but I guess I have to tell you, but you have to promise me you won't tell anyone. Especially Chloe."

"Chloe!? Kendall please don't say..."

"Josh and I hooked up last night, and now we are dating!"

"Wait....WHAT?!"

So I know I'm an awful person. You don't have to tell me.

I haven't updated in forever cuz school and science fair have taken over my life.

I won't be updating next week due to midterms. But, expect lots of updates over Christmas break.
