Yang Seungbae

I froze as I let Y/n sob into my chest.

"W-what happened?" I asked as I looked at the woman in front of me.

"Th-there was this g-guy who pulled me into t-the alleyway, he started doing t-things to me but I escaped," Y/n explained as she sniffled.

I hugged her tightly with my right arm while I took of my jacket with my left one. After taking it off, I wrapped it around Y/n quivering form.

"It's okay now... I'm here," I said as I cupped her cheeks wiping away her tears.

"Can you stand?" I asked as I stood up holding my hand out for her to take. She gladly took my hand and I helped her stand up.

"Can you go home by yourself?" I asked making Y/n move her head side to side.

"I guess I'll just walk you there," I smiled as I intertwined our fingers together, blushing.

The walk to Y/n's house was filled with awkward silence until Y/n spoke up.

"T-Thank you, Seungbae," Y/n thanked with a slight blush in her cheeks.

"You don't have to thank me, I'm doing this because I care for you," I blurted out making my face flush.

"Uh- I mean, I care for you as a coworker and yeah..." I stuttered earning a giggle from the girl beside me.

"You're so cute Seungbae," Y/n giggled as I felt my heart skip a beat.

"Why thank you," I said trying to keep my cool.

"Welp, this is my stop. Thanks for everything! Oh, here's your jacket by the way," Y/n said as she took off my jacket and handed it to me.

"See you tomorrow, Seungbae!" Y/n said as she entered the house.

"S-see you," I said as I watched her frame disappear from my line of vision.

"I love you," I quietly muttered as I made my way back home in silence.
