Yang Seungbae

I looked up only to find the raven haired man that is Y/n's husband

"Good afternoon, sir," I said quickly standing up and bowing slightly.

"What brings you here, Mr. Police Man?" He asked tilting his head slightly in curiousity.

I gulped and thought of an excuse, "There were reports of strange sounds being heard from outside," I lied hoping that he would buy it.

"A report...?" The man asked, "But I'm currently living by myself," The man reasoned.

"I heard something, so I thought someone was inside," I continued to lie, "Do you and Y/n have a pet, perhaps?"

"No... Not really... Y/n hates noisy things, you see..." The man said scratching the back of his neck, "But since I received a complaint, I have to check," The man said stepping in front of me with a key in hand. He inserted the key and turned it making a 'click' sound.

The sound of the door being unlocked echoed throughout the silent house as I just finished putting on some bandages around my fractured ankles. I awaited for the door to creak open to reveal Bum but nothing happened.

"What...?" I thought after finishing putting away the first aid kit.

"Is the person who unlocked the door not Bum?" I thought to myself, looking around the bathroom for a safe place to hide. After a while of searching, I finally decided to hide in a closet in the guest bedroom which is the room beside the bathroom.

I quickly crawled my way towards the guest room and hopped inside the Oak wood closet.

Creak

Bang

The door opened and closed with such force as I heard voices of two men who I recognized were Seungbae and Bum.

"Okay, feel free to search the entire house!" I heard Bum exclaim.

"Am I being saved...?" I thought feeling a sense of relief run through me.

I knocked on the closet door to signify that I was in here.

"What was that?" I heard Seungbae's voice.

"Oh, the knocking sound? That was probably because of your feet hitting the floorboards," Bum lied.

"A-Ah is that so..." Seungbae trailed on as I heard the opening and shutting of some cupboards.

"How's Y/n and your daughter/son?" Seungbae asked.

"They're doing okay, I don't know when they'll be back though," Bum lied once again.

"Ah I see... Well I finished my search, I will be leaving now. Have a nice day Mr. Yoon," Seungbae said as I heard his footsteps fading away.

Creak

Bang

Seungbae shut the door leaving me and Bum alone in the house.

"Y/n~ Where are you?" Bum cooed as I heard the door to the guest room open.

"Are you in here?~" The sound of Bum's footsteps drew nearer.

"Found you!" I heard Bum exclaim after he opened the closet door to reveal me.

"Nice job hiding!" Bum said carrying me bridal style and back to the living room.

"T-Thank you darling," I faked a smile and stared at his eyes only to find them filled with anger.

Slap

The sound of Bum's palm hitting my cheek echoed throughout the living room.

"Why did you knock?" Bum asked his voice filled with anger and malice.
